  • good work wtbas you have so much willpower i love a huge roast. my ex's mum used to cook me a huge one every sunday. with OH working nights the one thing I really miss is sundays spent eating roasts and reading the papers. that really is the only thing i miss about my ex tho lol. for my dinner i had a couple of handfuls of pasta with more king prawns and half a teaspoon of pesto. and i'm not leaving the house tonight to get choc. i'm sitting here in my jammies already to stop me going to the shop.:rotfl:

    tomorrow i'm having small bowl crunchy nut cornflakes with ss milk, jacket potato with tuna (a a tiny bit of mayo mixed in) and skinless chicken breast with carrots and green beans. i'm really impressed with the tesco value skinless chicken breasts - they're really chunky i had to slice them widthways- and they're only £2 for 2. I only need to use one to make a full meal for the two of us. OH is going to GP tomorrow he has to go to get his little soldiers checked out before my GP will send me for tests. I know I'm just going to be told I can't have kids because of my weight :mad: - and that puts even more pressure on me to lose weight - so I'll eat more choc :mad:

    I'm back :D

    New york was amazing, so glad I just took cash with me though. Could have spent a fortune. Glad to be back and into the swing of things now though.

    Also... i've dropped a dress size :D:D I had to go buy a dress for the Xmas party at work and I bought it 1 size down from my usual so I'm doing something right!!

  • Wohoo! yay Kmac, that is great! Well done for being good money wise in New York, must have been tempting!

    I was good sat but naughty yesterday, stupidly made choc muffins and ate three! but that's only one day so I'm back to be good today.
    Last week was hectic, I was training up my new team member so had to cover the full shift and do all the work while he was learning, go to three training sessions myself and organise the Children in Need raffle, so no time or energy to do Davina DVD but I was good food wise so proud of that. I'm not the best at handling stress so I did get a bit stroppy on Thurs but I'm ok now I'v had a nice weekend relaxing.

    Hope you all had a lovely weekend, even though the weather was so miserable! makes you want to hibernate under a duvet doesnt it!

    I'm not as loving this morning............I think the can of gin and tonic had something to do with that:D .

    Yesterday was not a good day eating wise as it was Sunday, breakfast day!! Then I had a chicken dinner later.

    I'm glad you had a good time Kmac and that you dropped a dress size, good for you.

    I've got 2 parties today, 1 in the afternoon and 1 at night then another tomorrow. Gotta go and get busy.

    I just typed a mammouth post saying hi to you all and it went, how annoying!!!

    Anyways, well done everyone you are doing really well!!!! a lot better than me lol

    Since the break up i have been doping really badly with the eating, missing meals in the week and then stuffing my face on the weekend so im back for that kick up the behind, i did list all of my eating habits for last week but they got lost and it was hard enough the first time because i have been so bad.

    But im going to try to post a lot more than i have been - ive been avoicing the boards as they mean money and im just not focuseed at the moment but i am getting better!!

  • Puzzled - get back on the horse, don't let the break up ruin all your good work so far! You can do it! Set an alarm on your phone or watch or pc to remind you to go and eat if you have to. Plan what you are going to eat in advance so you don't have "choice" as such. Then you wont need to over compensate by eating extra at the weekend. Come back to us - book mark the thread if you don't want to browse the whole forum ;)

    Kmac - im less busy than I was so I'm happy haha. Glad you had a great time in NY, must have been all that walking to shop that helped you ditch the extra few lbs to get down to the next dress size!! Well done!!

    CC - the muffin problem is one of mine too! Ill make cake or flapjacks or something bad and end up eating loads doh! So i try my hardest not to bake unless I have a reason and know loads of people can help me eat it lol.

    Skint chick - thinking a head of what your going to eat is a great idea!! Stops the temptation of going for high calorie options last mind if you already know what you are having! Just tell your dr when you go along you ARE doing something about your weight and if you have had a loss by the time you go and see him - tell him so and how you changed your diet etc.

    Lol Lynne - i was wondering if u where a little tipsy haha, Sundays seem to be your treat day, so i wouldn't feel too bad. We can have a day off a week as long as we aren't too bad (I still say make your mum grill stuff that doesn't need fried lol)

    Well i made it through the temptations yesterday! Now to try and do it today again, if I can just last a few sodding weeks - i mean it so should not be this hard lol. I do however feel hungry all the time! and even when I am not hungry and have just ate, i sit and think about the yummy foods I could be eating doh!

    Kmac, I wish i was always doing my dvds! lol! I just talk about them!
    My fella is trying to cut down spending and has decided he's going straight home after work mon, tues and thurs from now on (we work together and have a work bar which he props up most evenings!) and as I usually pop in to say hi this will mean that I will also go home (different house) and we will not have the temptation of going to eat or drink somewhere. This is good as I will have more time to do my christmas crafts and workout dvds but I will miss seeing him so often.

    Puzzled, it's natural to have an initail period of naughtiness but i think you will feel better if you get back on track, it is part of moving forward and heading towards the personal space you want to be in.

    lunch tuna sandwich & bag of crisps:mad:

    For dinner which about to have now mil is coming so having chicken, baked potato & turnip & carrot ........not enough cjicken so im having 2 chicken & mushroom vol-o-vents.....with bread how does that sound? not great but hey........

    Just soooooooo disappointed not losing much & ive been soooooo good makes it all seem pointless but im keeping going as ive this stone to get off for xmas & only 6 weeks left:eek: :eek: :eek:

    cc sure you a bf could go for a walk or something could you not for half an hour after work & that will ggive you time to catch up....What is it you do when you've a staff bar?
