    Morning folks:hello:
Lovely to *see* you all as I haven't popped into the daily for a while.
Rain showers here - the towel which was left on the line will just have to stay there and soften in the rain.
Not much on the agenda today - got to go to jewellers and also library. Should finish off painting the fiddly bits in the downstairs loo. I am a good starter but not a good finisher of jobsbiggrin.gif
Tea tonight is spag bol, defrosting at the mo so not much needed there. Lunch tomorrow is braised sausages and then the trimmings for a roast dinner - money saving alternative and everyone feels full hehehe. Don't have to buy anything for that so should manage to avoid food shops today.
    Enjoy your weekend

((((Squiggly)))) I expect it's a hard time for him but that doesn't mean he can ignore you....but don't lose hope, the right man is out there for you and he'll turn up when you least expect him x

We're off to the races today! So I've done no housework all morning :D. It's ladies day, I'm getting semi-dressed up as I don't have suitable dress/skirt and it's not exactly Ascot!

I made my first savoury impossible pie last night, I think it will become a favourite as we both enjoyed it and it seems a good way of using up odds and ends. I had a slight dilemma when I realised that the bowl I'd put it all in didn't fit in the remoska, and a smaller bowl wouldn't have held all the mixture, so I just poured it all straight in and it worked out fine!
Mioliere - I've found some of the timings off too, but the savoury impossible pie took about 45 mins in the remoska - I copied the recipe when you posted it a month or so ago (I think it was you!) and you said it took 1hr 30 mins in your oven. Don't know if you've tried it in your remoska yet but I thought I'd mention it.

Tea tonight will hopefully be fish if I make it to Tesco to buy some. I'm off now to make our packed lunch that we can eat in the car before we go in to the racecourse.

Hope you all have a lovely day.

You deserve better and just let him stew!!!

Washing is hung out and DH is taking me to Lidl to do some shopping.

Later we are going to move some of the boxes from the lock up to a small garage DH has hired that is a lot cheaper and more convenient.

The way prices are going I am seriously considering buying extra tins of soup, meat, fish, fruit and veg when they are on offer and storing them in the garage in labellled boxes.

If we had been able to sell our house we would have had our own garage by now and got stuff sorted out.

Hugs to everybody and see you later.

    Hello all

Dickens of a thunder storm last night -so I'm told - I slept through the whole lot but it woke OK and our young lad ! Rain has battered a few plants and today is very windy with more rain forecast ! Suspect possible blight on two tomato plants which will be such a shame if it isas they've already got fruit on !
Young lad has gone out............older lad just come in with his older brother from Birmingham who's up for the weekend to see him (hope he doesn't want to stay here........if he does, he'll have to share our lads room which is a right tip despite much nagging/gentle persuasion/bribery etc, Now girlfriend is here and looks like they might be going out -phew !! Give me some peace if they do.
Strange day today and one where I'd appreciate some 'me'' time. Anniversary of first husbands death and also birthday of first son who died...........so its a day of mixed emotions.

Hope you all have a good day and hugs (((((((((:o )))))))))))) to those who need them
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

(((((HUGS)))) to you to, sounds like you deserve them, do something nice for yourself if they're all going out, nice bath and paint nails maybe?

Hope everyone has a nice day, I have to go and deliver a horrible letter to OH's old boss who never paid him and left us in dire straites. Threatening him with tribunal's and court action but have to deliver in person as we don't know the address so that should be fun!!
