Jeez! I can't believe how much this thread has exploded since my first post on page 1. My Barclaycard forms turned up today so they'll be getting returned asap.

I've also added my name to what is likely becoming a long list of people contacting Watchdog. Interesting post indeed craigf136, just goes to illustrate the kind of @r$0le$ we're dealing with.

Just been on companies house at Furniture Deal is still showing active, but guess what another address:-

This is the address of the liqudators - but why still showing as active?

If you check out Display Deal they now have a different company number and VAT number and they have now gone to a limited company. Still the same address as before. This has obviously been amended..

Hi All
I've been following this thread with interest as whilst we did at least receive our furniture (after waiting 2 months!) part of it was damaged and were waiting for a replacement package!

I thought I would try and send an email to the above address, however it won't send as it thinks it is invalid!

I have been onto PKL's website and contacted them through the Contact Us section.

Might also see if I can somhow find out if we can have them investigated by TV's Rogue Traders!

If you go onto companies house Display Deal has now gone limited and they have a different company number and VAT number - they have obviously amended this very quickly to cover themselves.

I'm certain there will be a transaction log for their database updates so the previous information will not be lost, regardless of how quickly any attempt may have been made to cover it up.

Yes you are probably right. You can buy reports from both Companies House and Credit Gate. These should give details of all changes made, and the history.

Well done guys, great that we are all sticking together.
Since placing my order 10 days ago I still have heard nothing. No response to all my emails, no letter from liquidators etc. Its like I dont exist. At least I have it on my bank statement.
I dont believe that they are bankrupt as they tried to trade with some previous posters this week.

I got my letter from the liquidators today,see the last page where its going on about proxy votes could anyone tell me what I should do, do I return it . I don't really know what it it all means.
