:eek: to £36 in Focus on pots ( x 6 though), plants, seeds, compost and seed trays. Lots of the flowers were half price, but dopey me managed to buy a couple of full price ones... Oh well, we have loads....and it'll keep DD2 and I busy on monday so wont go out and spend anythingelse;)
Nipped to Tesco too and returned a pair of jeans I bought for DD1 on mon, so £7 refund, and spent £16 on other bits ( again). Did get some half price organic minced beef, so that's in the freezer. Got my dividers, 2 packs of reduced card making sets for girls - £2 each but that'l make 10 cards, much cheaper than buying! Also got stuff to put in goldfish tank water - nearl4 £4, not impressed with that!! £2 on a bunch of flowers for my friend to say thanks for having girls when I went to hosp on tues (and all the other times, she's v good to me).
Dinner is on....HM chicken curry. Soooo happy it's the weekend, and a 3-day one at that:D A nice quiet one for me...sounds good:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Morning all!
I'm just in bed, window open, enjoying the look of the lovely day with a cuppa and laptop;) (but cuppa gone a bit cold:p)
Girls are going to stay at ex ma-in-laws with their dad tonight...tis only 10min away:D No money from him went in yesterday...not happy:mad: He rang last night to tell me his wages haven't gone in so he has no money at all.....so not much chance of me getting any cash this weekend. It's so ridiculous, I really could do with the money. After spending on plants etc yesterday I have £51 in my spending account to last til Thurs....so a small grocery shop this week. But it means I won't be able to save anything to the holiday fund...it's not quite paid off, almost, but not quite. Will work out later how much is needed. Once the Paypal money and Quidco money go in there really won't be much to pay - £100 at the most I think.
ANyway, here's the list I posted in the 'what small dfw things' thread....
-Check banking....£51 til my TCs go in on Thurs....ex's money didn't go in, he says he didn't get paid, so means I go short too:mad:
-Scratchcards
-Washing is on already - 40deg quickwash
-washing will go out on the line....hooray:D
-Hoover/dust whole house
-Mop kitchen floor
-Find stuff to ebay - iron/photograph it, list tonight
-ironing....piles and piles:o
-Plant some seeds with DD2...prob a job for Monday
-Plant tubs of flowers
-Cut/strim grass....:mad:hate doing this!
-Meal plan and list....a frugal one if poss;)
-NSD hopefully
-Finish organising NVQ portfolio.....very nearly done...hooray:T
-wash all bedding
Just a day at home today....lovely! I'm sure I'll think of lots more to do....house isn't too bad, tidiness wise, but it's always good to get it perfect while girls aren't here:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Ok, well I thought I hadn't done much today - but it's not been toooo bad!:o I'm sat enjoying a glass of red wine (1 glass straight to the head;)) and my dinner is on. I listed just a few bits on ebay - no clothes, I need to iron some stuff and that can wait til tomorrow.
It's looking reasonably clean and tidy here - kitchen is good, just need to dust lounge tomorrow, oh and upstairs. My poor bedroom always gets ignored - I keep the girls' room nice, but my room collects the piles of clothes etc - I only sleep there after all:D;)
Ex came for girls earler and said he'll borrow some money from his mum to give me - I don't care where he gets it, that's his problem;) To be honest, we get on fine, you have to though don't you when you have children - don't want them to be affected.
I do feel a bit of a billy-no-mates this weekend, all on my tod while others are having family days out and bbqs etc....but luckily I like my own company:o When I split with ex 2 years ago I wouldn't have thought that 2 years later I'd be all on my own still....but hey, I never go anywhere, I'm never going to meet anyone else!!!
Anyway, food looks ready.....I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Yeah, that is the difficulty if we dont go anywhere we are not going to meet anyone.
Oh well onwards & upwards.

Oooooh I just won £5 on the daily scratchcard!!:j:j How exciting!!!!!
Still in bed, just had a cuppa. Quick catch up on here then will get up for a shower, get washing on and get ironing in front of 'Something for the Weekend' at 10am:D
Sun is shining, but some dark clouds keep appearing...hopefully it'll stay dry. Not doing much again - I'll paste in my big list of stuff to do at home and I might nip to Tesco later to get the weekly stuff, save going tomorrow when girs are back and will moan;)
I worked out that I have £102 to find to pay off the holiday - that needs to come out of weekly TCs, which is absolutely fine, I was aiming to save £50 a week out of them so now just need £25 a week as there are 4 more TC payments til money due. Very pleased that I've paid for the hol (£1100) in cash, saving and selling....no credit. And once it's paid, any extra I save now will go to debts (and build my savings up a bit after the car;))
Ok, 10minutes more on here then must get up!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Ooops forgot to add my list......here it is:

- Put huge pile of winter coats up attic
- NSD hopefully - only grocery shopping (NO TREATS!!)

I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Ok, well I don't seem to have done a huge amount off my list - but I did iron for nearly 3 hours:eek: I took a few pics of stuff to sell on ebay as I went so will list them later.
Have been to T's for a so-called cheap shop....£55 later:mad: But......I did get G some trainer socks (all hers too small, they'll be a birthday pressie next weekend;)), I also bought her cards, one from me and one from E to give her, a lovely sister one haha:p. So shopping came to £49 and I did get a huge Persil washing concentrate reduced by £2.80 to £4, it'll last us months, also a bag of frozen chicken breasts £3.20 that are usually out of stock, 2 lots of cheese at £2 each (reduced from £3.50 each) - so there that's over £10 that I wasn't planning on spending but stuff that'll keep us going a while. (That makes me feel better:D)
I'm going to finish sorting my NVQ portfolio now, then bring washing in and sort - may iron more while Come Dine with Me is on!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Well done on the ironing Milly, that definitely deserves some wine tonight
