Evening all!
Had my hospital appointment at long last today;) I saw a different consultant who was really good, explained a lot about the Crohn's to me. He could feel the mass where it's caused a narrowing and is going to arrange for a barium meal x-ray to see the extent of the narrowing/blockage. Then I'll have to either have surgery to remover the diseased part or have a different medication, which would be an IV infusion every 6 weeks or so - I'm hoping for that, not surgery yet:o

Anyway, I came out feeling quite happy that I'm getting sorted at last. Staying on steroids too.

Money-wise I'm doing OK. Had to spend on bus fare to hosp - but cheaper than parking, and treated myself to a coffee first and bag of crisps after.

More ebay bits sold this week - have about £80 in Paypal I think. Will just wait for the last few bits to sell at the end of the week and withdraw - straight to holiday fund:T ALso I have £77 coming from Quidco this month - it's been received by them so should get that next week.

Withdrew £10 from TAB bingo yesterday.....all good.

And I found out last night that maintenance payments for children are no longer counted in Housing Benefit calculations - so any money I can get out of the numpty will be extra, my HB won't get reduced. That'll be a big help - if he ever coughs up that is:p I got the £40 he sent the Fri after he claims it left his account - but it was a 'fast payment inwards' - so I don't think it was sent the week before, I reckon he skipped a week - but I'm texting every day asking or it. He'll get bored of me soon:rotfl:

If it is a Fast or Faster Payment Inwards on your statement/online then it would have been sent either same-day or the day before.

When I send a Faster Payment to Alliance and Leicester for example it shows up right away (By the time I log off main internet banking and into A&L it's there) but if I pay to a credit card it takes 24 hours by Faster Payments. If your payment has any kind of Fast written anywhere near it then there is no way in the hot-and-burny-place that it was sent a week ago.

I thought that was the case - he said he'd set it up one Fri, but no money til the following Fri, and that was a Fast Payment, so the week before's money hasn't been sent - he now owes me 2 weeks, PLUS this Friday...useless:rolleyes:
My mum sends me the girls' pocket money and the FPI she sent on Sun hit my account instantly - but only the numpy ex would say his FPI took a week:p;)

I'll post my pasta bake and risotto recipes tomorrow afternoon for you....far too tired now...off to my bed with my book in a mo....lovely:D (Pasta bake for our dinner tomorrow, it's an easy one;))

Oh yes - how fantastic! To be honest I think he thinks I'm completely stupid half the time, unfortunately for him I'm always one step ahead of him......:rotfl:

Posted more ebay parcels today. More sold tonight - one pair of DD2s converse went for £16...fantastic:T Hopefully all buyers will pay up soon and I can get the moey transferred - it'll be over £100:D
I must list more this weekend when girls with their dad. Talking of him - he even sent me £30 today into my bank...amazed I was:rolleyes:

Not the NSD I planned - I nipped to Tesco at 7 tonight to buy a couple of lever arch files and tons of plastic pockets to get my NVQ portfolio all organised. I've made a start putting it together, just need to collect one unit my tutor forgot to return and hand it all in:p
So spent £20 in Tesco altogether as found some half price chicken and a few other bits we needed - stocked til early next week I think.

Off for an early night in a mo with a book.

Just transferred £115 from Paypal to my bank account - very excited!!:beer:
And had confirmation that £77 has been paid by Quidco....woohooo that's £192 to go in my holiday fund - I think I have the holiday money all there now and it's not due til the end of May - so I'll have paid for the whoole holiday in cash, no credit, all saved or earned on ebay etc.....very chuffed I've done that:o:D

Hooray....NSD 12 out of 12 today - by the skin of my teeth hehe:D

I do need some file dividers but that can wait. Tomorrow i have ebay parcels to post and off to pick up the last unit from tutor to put in my lovely big portfolio. I've sat while girls at cheerleading tonight and sorted all the individual units into the portfolio - so pleased, it looks impressive!!

I'm realllllly looking forward to the 3-day weekend, I'm shattered again, so need the rest. Girls with their dad Sat pm til Sun pm, then on Mon I'm hoping to do the garden a bit with DD2 - might go by the plants after school tomorrow.

SO shouldn't be an expensive weekend I don't think. must decided on an NSD target for May...hmmmmmm:rolleyes:
