My new 'no spending/get myself organised' diary

Lovely day here today - and my 9th NSD of April:beer:
DD2 is at Brownies, I paid the £20 subs from the clubs fund, all accounted - and cash, so no nasty cheques coming out in a few weeks! DD1 out with her friends, it's silent here....bliss. About to hoover through downstairs, will then cook eldest's dinner - just leftover meatballs and sauce from freezer, then collapse on sofa, very tired.

£10 from bingo scratchies arrived in account today, so has been swiftly transferred to svaings account. I *think* I only need about £250 more in there to cover the holiday, due end of May... Have £75 due from Quidco this month, it's been paid so I know it's coming this month! So, I'll have paid for the hols with money - not credit...cooool!!

Just need to buy birthday presents for the 2 darlings now....:rotfl:

Am absolutely shattered - work is wearing me out, but still glad to be back:D Still no money from ex in account - he says it left his account on Friday, surely it should have cleared into my account by now?! Hmmmm. TCs in tomorrow thank goodness so account will look healthier.

Must do a meal plan and list for next week's food. We're staying at my sister's on Saturday night so can nip to her Morrison's on Sunday and use 10% discount card.

With my banking hat on, assuming he didn't send the money by Faster Payments (In which case you would have had it by now) some banks do take 3-5 working days to process money transfers. It depends on who you both bank with tbh. The first working day is often the first one after the payment was sent, so:

Friday - money sent
Monday - next working day (Day 1)
Wednesday - today - should be Day 3 so I would be expecting it tomorrow at the latest.

Not to doubt anyone's ex (!) but do you have proof he sent it?

:rotfl:If you knew him you'd know why I'm a little disbeleiving hahaha!! I have no proof, no - not seen the standing order even though I have asked to, and I do need to see it so I can tell Housing benefit people.

Hopefully tomorrow then I'll see it......I'll be eagerly checking the account at 6.30am:D Thanks for the info:A

Yep that'd be the one The one who uses the same line month after month about the bank being to blame for his money never arriving on time :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Morning all and hooray for Friday:beer:
I'm shattered, physically anyway....steroids keeping me feeling good though, I just feel tired after working all week;)

Ex's money hit my account today.....took a week, it left his account last Friday...how slow?!
Anyway, hopefully another lot should leave his account today;)

I have finally got my UCAS application all sent off - got my reference from work (was lovely:o) so have finished the online application and sent it....excited but wondering if I'm ever-so-slightly mad:rotfl:

Lots of ebay things have bids....rather pleased. Some end tonight and more over the weekend.

I think we're off to my sister's tomorrow, til Sun afternoon. Were going for a bbq, but the forecast looks a bit pants:mad:Oh well.

Not much else planned....I need to rest my weary legs:D
