:eek:Eeeeek, £9 per pair of shoes to get them re-heeled:eek:
But I guess it's still cheaper than buying new shoes for me, the ones I wear for work are Next sole reviver ones, £36. So these will now last me til the end of this school year, will wear sandals alot hopefully anyway;)

So, £18 in the repairer, £11 in Halfords on the rear view mirror and a couple of pounds in Tesco on yogurt and naan bread for tonight's HM curry.

My spending account is overdrawn by £1 right now (free £100 limit tho luckily), but have £29 being credited from Next. Will need a Tesco shop this weekend, but the ex has now decided to give some money so he should come with a bit of cash later on! Just waiting for the forms to fill in for Housing Benefit people to tell them too - I rang up, but you just can't get to speak to anyone quickly.....very irritating:mad:

Home again now, in from the cold and damp, just having a cuppa then back to my housework!

So far today I've ironed, taken a few pics of ebay bits, hoovered downstairs, took winter boots/scarves up attic and found more things to ebay - brand new size 6 denim mini from Next anyone??!! (My backside wouldn't get in there now, bought it the yr I split with ex and got skinny;):D) I tidied girls room a little, but will do it properly when they're out tomorrow.

    Onwards....
I really need to sort out a new signature!

    Hello Milly,

I've spent hours yesterday and today reading your thread. You are an inspiration, well done on everything that you have accomplished!

Now, as you're feeling much better do you think that you can come to my house and clean? please! :D

I would subscribe to your diary but i'm daft and can't work out how to do it, keep up the good work, i'll keep reading.

Hello alibob and welcome to my diary:beer:
I'm going to make an effort to post here more than I have been recently, it definitely keeps me focussed and motivated. It's fab to be feeling well again, I love taking steroids as I feel full of beans and love tidying and cleaning haha:rotfl: So will make the most of it while I'm taking them.

The first diary I found on here last May when I had my big lightbulb moment was Benbenandme's - have a look for her diary, now she is super-organised and really inspired me:p I have changed so much in the last year - I must look back at my diary one of these days and see how better organised I am:o I used to have no idea what was in the bank - as long as my card worked in a shop I didn't care....terrible! Now, I love saving my money, stashing it in savings accounts and keeping tabs on it all.

Anyway.....do keep popping in.....as KM said, the 'thread tools' tab just above the top post on this page will give you the option to subscribe...much easier then to find all your fave threads:D

You have reminded me I need to get my boots reheeled, and both DDs have boots that need reheeling too......sounds like it could be pricey

I need to take a leaf out of your book and do my diary more often too, as it is motivating!! Will try & get to it later!

Yep, ready and raring to go here....:T
As for the reheeling malarkey....tis still cheaper than new shoes and I usually find that repairers put a good hardwearing heel on. My shoes are fine on the uppers so daft to chuck them out - even tho I'd MUCH rather have new ones....I LOVE shoes:o

And yes - you get posting on your diary...I'll come join you there:D

Busy afternoon - have cleaned kitchen properly, moved afew bits about on the surfaces and made it tidier and looks like there'smore space. CLeaned out the poor goldfish, could hardly see him in the green water:o I went up to girls room to put clean clothes away and ended up sorting out their drawers and closet. Youngest has loads now, gave most of DD1s last yrs stuff to her! And found more bits to flog on ebay......I'm on a roll:rotfl:
