Hi all, thank you for the lovely messages:p
Lying on my bed (again!), just having a quiet day. My lovely friend took the girls swimming with her 2, then they went to the park. Youngest is downstairs with her friend, eldest back soon. Been nice to just rest and know that the girls are out and happy, being entertained:D
Not quite an NSD as I gave my friend £10 to take girls, and they had lunch out too. I've moved £17 to my account with clubs money in. I just paid £92 for their gym club for the next 2 terms:eek: It's alot but they love it, and I think it's a great activity for them, I always wished I'd kept gym up for longer as a child. DD2's guitar lessons money is due after Easter, but that's now safely in that separate account.
So I have £70 left in my spending account out of this week's TC's - pleased with that. Hopefully will move all of that to my holiday fund. SHame I'm not paying off debt with it, but to be honest, the holiday will be well needed...and I'm not adding to the debt, will pay the holiday out of saved money and ebay sales!!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Milly just popping in to see how you are. I can only imagine you're having a wonderful time over Easter & far too busy to update!

Hiya Retro....thanks for popping in! Was going to update the other day but didn't really think anyone bothers reading this diary
Well, I've recovered a bit now, but up to last week I felt awful....hospital been useless, cancelling the scan and making it nigh on impossible to see the Gastro doc I used to see...but luckily I asked for steroids last week and it's all calmed down.
So had a very quiet holiday up to now, but recovering some energy and feel better now, if still tired at times.
We went out with my bro in law yesterday and bought a car for me:eek: Just an X-reg Ford Ka, replacing my old P-reg rubbish Corsa, which I hate and don't trust. So off to hopefully pick it up tomorrow. Not very MSE I guess, but I have held off buying it, I planned on doing it last summer with the money from the house sale....so I did ok hanging on til now;)
I've spent out a bit this week - some summer clothes for eldest as she's grown out of last years, bought myself some work shoes too, but feel bad so might take them back. We all need haircuts too, money money. Managed to get away with no food shopping this week as girls stayed at my sisters last wed til mon as I felt so carp and I didnt eat anything really that we had in!!
I'll be glad to get back to work and back to normal on Monday:rotfl:
Just saw that £15 from WW and £65 Paydayuk have been received at Quidco - there's £80 for holiday fund.
I've listed more on ebay...lots of bits ending tonight and made about £10 on 2 items at the weekend which I posted today.
Thats all for now.....:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
I do read it too Milly
Well done on managing to get some bits on ebay even when you felt rough, I know what you mean about spending money when its the holidays, it just flows out doesn't it  Ds needs his haircut too before he goes back to school, must get that done tomorrow really. I'm seriously thinking about a new car too, nothing wrong with the one I've got really, and what with getting a new sofa this month too I really shouldn't even think about it, but we'll see

Well yes, I'll be glad to get back to work to save money! Got collared for £6 on sandwiches yesterday for them;)
I think the haircuts might have to wait - they both want a bit of a re-style, mine is just a mess but I can manage!
Very excited about picking up the car tomorrow or Friday - I'm sure I could have managed a bit longer, but I don't feel the Corsa is reliable any more, not that it's ever given me problems, but the wipers dont wipe very well, so I avoid driving in rain - not very practical! We were on our way to Weston one day, the heavens opened with hail and my wipers broke when I put them on full, so ever since then rain scares me:eek:;)
I must, must get into the MB like you - I read all your diary posts about the bets you're placing and think I need to sort myself out....soon I'll run out of stuff to ebay, then no idea where any extra cash will come from.
Watch this space.....maybe.......:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hi Milly, I always read your diary too. I am a bit of a lazy poster but I do read and find it interesting. Don't assume no one is reading but mostly the diary is for you to keep you track so if nothing else I hope it does that for you xx0

Grrrr. Hospitals make me so mad! I made an appointment for my problem a couple of weeks back. The same day I got my letter confirming my appointment I got another saying they'd cancelled it & would book me another one 'soon'!!!
