I've been signed off work til next wed, which is lovely - give me a chance to rest and gain some energy hopefully;) Just had my blood taken, results back maybe on friday, so will know if I'm anaemic or not.
Don't feel too bad today, must just make sure I rest not get busy, as I tend to do when I feel ok!!!

Anyway, had my quarterly gas and electric bills, so thought I'd check the readings - they estimated both. Was very pleased as they estimated too high, so have submitted up to date readings online.

Not much esle to report really - NSD yesterday, and Monday, today will be too hopefully. It's great as out of last week's tax credits I have only spent £50 in Tesco. I've just transferred £30 to an account to cover clubs and Isle of Wight fund, and put £50 in my savings account. I still left £15 in the spending account, then found hat tax credits went in today, as opposed to the usual Thursday, no idea why. No plans for the weekend, so hopefully will have a good chunk so put in savings next week. the holiday fund is creeping up - I've paid off £300, after the initial £90 deposit, have £788 to go, of which I've got £300 saved;) Pretty pleased with that.

Anyway, off to veg on the sofa. I've done a washing and got it on the line, now time to relax:D

  • Glad you got signed off. I don't believe you can recover from anything whilst working. Even if you have a job where you sit down all day, it's still to much when you're ill.

I hope you're feeling better today. It sounds like you're plodding along nicely! Excellent on the savings amount for the trip!

Hi all, I am still here - just not had much to report;)

Still off work - for the rest of this week. the pain in my side hasn't gone so Dr is going to get me a scan at the hospital. He's ruled out my appendix, so will hopefully find out what it is soon:o

Just completed a survey and it took me to enough points to claim a £10 Amazon voucher;)

I haven't really done much else money-making recently, no ebaying:o I have a huge binbag full of nice summer clothes - mostly the girls', so my plan is to get listing them during the Easter hols.

I think I'm going to look into changing energy suppliers this afternoon - Martin says do it now:money:

My March NSDs are pitiful - only 11 so far, so no chance of getting my planned 18:eek: Oh well, not to worry. I have put a good amount in the savings and built up £85 in the girls' club money account.

Right, off to lie on te sofa and watch some 90210 from last night:o (I know, I know, how old am i??)

Just found PaydayUK loans on Quidco, at £65 cashback. So have applied for the £80 loan, repayable next month at £100....so assuming the cashback comes thro' ok, which other people seem to say it does, I should have made £45...:D
