  • NSD no.13 today...so just one more til I hit Feb's target. Hopefully I'll get a good few more than that;)
I really need to sort out a new signature!
  • 1st day this year with no heating on!!!:D
We got back from my sis house at about 3pm, heating hadn't been on since yesterday and it doesn't even feel that cold - I did the ironing then cooked dinner so I was warm:p
Off for an early night as we were up late looking at cars to buy for me online....I don't trust the one I have and was planning on replacing it last year, but stuck the £1k in an ISA instead, so hopefully will get a few hundred for mine and get a slightly newer car.
14th NSD today too - I did by groceries, but was a lovely small shop, £26, and all items from my list, I didn't even buy a paper (that would have ruined the NSD, only grocery shopping allowed!).
Made £83 on 2 items on ebay tonight - that's fab, really pleased. That'll go towards the holiday. Also ex MIL gave me £10 bdday money and £50 towards girls clubs yesterday. The £10 will buy me a spring top, I'm in dire need of some.

Anyway, off to bed now...shattered. Back to school....only 6 weeks til Easter;)

  • Really glad to hear the MOT didn't cost an arm & a leg! Well done on the Ebaying! Glad it's paying off for you. x

  • Not a bad day money-wise;) I've just transferred £129 from Paypal to my bank account, Quidco have £35 received to come to me soon, bank account looks fine and I'm not going to touch it til Thurs when my Tax Credits go in. So may have some leftovers to go into the holiday fund.

Not an NSD today - posted the 2 ebay parcels (that made me £82;) ) and bought some cakes for work as it's my bday tomorrow:o The car's gone back to the garage to pass it's MOT - will pick it up after work tomorrow. Hopefully not too costly, he said about £35...that'll be just over £100 including the MOT test price.

I refuse to buy any more groceries til the weekend - I'm on £196 out of my £200 grocery budget for Feb, so I want to actually come in under budget for once!!!! Going to get a big shop delivered on Sat though, but will count it as March - I have a voucher code that's due up on Sat 28th, 200 points and a bonus 400 as I did 2 other online shops recently - so 1000 points altother. I would normally do the shop on Sunday, but will get it for Sat instead.

Anyway, must get and do girls tea, and pancakes of course before Brownies:D

  • Well...mighty busy round here recently;)
Can't be bothered to post here at the mo'...I'm still being reasonably good, dfw-wise, plodding along, but feel like I'm yakking away to myself here and not particularly motivated:rolleyes:

Quiet weekend coming up, girls out tomorrow and I intend to bash away at the NVQ and try and get the UCAS personal statement done.

Anyway, off to post some ebay parcels and collect youngest from cheerleading.

  • Belated Happy Birthday!

I haven't been around all week. Plodding along is good, as long as you're not being naughty. You'll get motivated. What motivates you? Go and have a gander at some other diaries? Join a new challenge (though I know you do a fair few already!)? I have no other suggestions. :(

Good luck! Despite my poor efforts of inspiration! LOL!

£38 from Quidco on it's merry way to my bank account, £128 from ebay has now landed in my savings account:D

Quiet weekend, took youngest to town yesterday for school shoes which we got, £23. She needed school tights too, which I got in M+S, 2nd set half price. Paid with a credit voucher I had in my purse and have put the 2nd set of tights away for next winter.

Tesco shopping came on Sat - £63 including delivery charge. Got enough for this week and definitely into next week too. This weekend's shopping will only be a small one, fruit, veg, bread really.

Not much else to report - feeling a bit ropey, darn Crohn's is playing up a bit and it makes me shattered too. I'm still being reasonable MSE, just can't be bothered posting here any more;) Think I'm nattering away to myself which has kind of got boring now:o

Anyway, must go and get some dinner on for girls....
