Morning:hello:
I'm off work today - Inset, which is lovely;)
Youngest is off too and has her friend here for a few hours, they're lovely and quiet upstairs.
Had to get up early as usual to get eldest off to school and it's quite nice to be showered and dressed really early on a day off:D I've out a washing on, it's now on the line. Have hoovered the lounge and kitchen, now need to clean kitchen floor. I'm sat here attempting to do next week's meal plan, but fed up with same meals:rolleyes: So looking for inspiration...!!!
Need to nip out later for a couple of bits, bread and milk, and will take E for a cake, that I never bought her on Wednesday:p
NOt much else going on....better go and do some more housework:rolleyes:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Bah, feeling rubbish today - woke up at feeling sick but got back to sleep. Slept this afternoon for 3 hours and still tired. SO will have an early night - girls are with their dad luckily.
Did my shopping online, it's coming tomorrow morning. Thought that I'd better in case I feel rubbish tomorrow and can't face it! I did plan on having a small shop this week, as spent penty last week - it came to £52 online and found vouchers on the forum here, £11 off....cooool. So, around £40, not too bad then, and will have lots of food in.
Not much else to report. Have just splashed out on a book each for the 3 of us from Amazon:o £12, but hey, I don't buy much else for entertainment any more. And got to encourage the girls to read;)
ANyway, off to lie on the sofa, might put my Beverly Hills 90210 dvd on from Lovefilm:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
No NSD as I bought the books...and had to pay £7.50 at gym for G's latest badge, medal and certificate:eek:I really need to sort out a new signature!0

Excellent splash-out! Books from Amazon. I couldn't think of anything better! and educational too! You're tempting me to do some 'window-shopping' now.

Hi there,
Sorry I haven't posted much recently - been feeling rubbish, completely wiped out. I go to bed at 9 when the girls go, up at 6.45 and been falling asleep after school too. I feel worn out all aftersoon at school and it's an effort to do anything.... I think I'll go to the doctor this week, see if I need iron or something again - and a week off work would be good;)
So it's been a very quiet week - got a few NSDs in, but not doing as well as I'd hoped with them. Had to buy DD2s friend a birthday present this week, which ruined one NSD and I did so well yesterday - we went out with my friend and her daughter whose birthday it was and 5 other girls - bowling and Mcd's. As I helped by ferrying some girls there, my frined bought my coffees and lunch so had an NSD. I was cooking girls dinner later but the chicken stank:o It was out of the freezer and was in date when I put it there, but it smaelt like fish as I was cooking, so gave up and bought a pizza from the takeaway. £6.50, which I begrudge, but was so tired and it was late, I couldn't be bothered:rolleyes:
I've paid £300 off our holiday that was due this month - all money made from ebay sales. I've started using an old savings account to stash money for DD2's Y6 trip to the Isle of Wight next year. They go in June, around £250. When eldest was going, they gave us loads of time to pay, but they haven't told us yet about E's trip, I'm just trying to be prepared, so I don't have to pay £250 over 6 months:eek:
Lovely day here, so must make the most of it and get some washing out. I need to go to Tesco today, but I look a fright, my eyes are all red and itchy - lord I'm a walking disaster right now:p Wish I'd done the shopping online, but I didn't need much so thought it better to go there myself.
I think today will be a lazy day, I don't have the energy for anything else. Need a week off work on my own to try and find that energy. Just finding work such hard work, usually I love it, but it's an effort at the moment:o
Anyway, enough moaning on.....;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Aww, sorry to hear you're not feeling so good Milly
Make sure you rest up and well done on being so organised with the isle of wight money
We live so close to it but its sooo expensive to get there that we don't bother. I might take ds for a daytrip in the summer holidays

Afternoon:D
Had the day off work today as I'm still shattered, crashed out on the sofa for a couple of hours after lunch. have a doctor appointment tomorrow so hopefully that'll get me sorted. I'm wondering if I'm anaemic, I have been before - my body doesn't absorb iron and B12 due to the Crohns. I haven't had a blood test fr a few months and as the Crohn's was active recently it might explain it.
Anyway, money-wise......
Not bad - £50 in Tesco yesterday, £37 was shopping, the other bits were 2 cards (1 mother's day, 1 get well for a friend), fudge for Mother's day, glue for G's art hwk and moisturiser for me. All meal planned up til Sunday, so will only need a top up of bread and milk later in the week.
I had £10 arrive in my bank account from Take a Break bingo, from scratchcards, so that's now in my savings account. And reached £10 at Littlewoods bingo this morning so withdrew that:p
I haven't done anything esle money-making recently, apart from not having the energy, I seem to have run out of steam a bit. Just spent a while reading some old threads on here to give myself some motivation;) I really want to get going with matched betting, and I have a load of summer clothes to get on ebay once the Spring is definitely here and people want to buy them!
Waiting for my gas/electric bils, sure they're due about now - want to check with the meter readings and see how I'm doing with trying to cut down a bit:o
Girls have come in from school and gone back out, so all quiet here again - good job I like my own company, I spend most of my time on my little ownsome it seems now:rolleyes:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
