Im frightened to do it but well done you :)

I had a look on these forums and found a few people who'd done it and found it all quick and easy with no problems after - no being chased up for future loans etc. I'll just remove the £80 when it arrives in my current account and stick it in te savings, then next month can shift it back and pay them the extra £20.
    Maybe I'm mad hehe:rotfl:

    Afternoon:D
My car insirance needed renewing this month - I've always been a named driver and ex was the policy holder, but thought I need it in my name now. All the quotes were high, I have no no-claims and only been driving just under 3 years. So I went with the same insurer, just chnaged it to my name, and it went up a lot, but they gave me 2yrs NCD. Anyway, after looking online I found Tesco very cheap, even with no NCD, so I cancelled the other policy - it wasn't due to start til 1st April.

ANyway, today I get the letter confirming the cancellation, along with a proof of 2 years NCD....very pleased:beer: .
So have been looking online and just bought my new insurance, from Tesco, cheaper than when I was on ex's policy (now £19 a month) plus I get clubcard points and a £50 Tesco voucher. I'm really pleased with it....was expecting to pay more than before, not less:j

Horrible, wet day here today - I miss last week's sun, was lovely sat in the garden with my book enjoying my time off work;)

I have my B12 injection at the doc in a while, then home for some lunch and going to my friend's this afternoon, she's off work too, what a pair:D

I've had a good tidy up today, hoovered and dusted, so downstairs looks ok now - just upstairs needs a good attack:eek: I've got some leek and potato soup on the go at the mo - tyring to keep to weightwatchers and bored of the same lunches of crackerbreads and low fat cheese spread! I haven't got a huge amount to lose, I want to get to about 8st10, 8st7 even better, but be happy below 9stone again! I tried on some summer skirts and they wouldn't quite do up - I can't afford new clothes so easiest way is to lose weight and fit in them properly!

I have a few bits food-wise to buy when I nip out - I've seriously failed the grocery challenge, and NSD challenge this month - must try harder for April. Just find £200 really tight for the 3 of us - I want to eat healthily, but fruit seems to cost and don't have a fruit/veg shop or market around, jsut supermarkets. Maybe I'll allow the grocery budget to go to £220, to allow for more healthy stuff and low fat bits for me. I think for me, I'm more concerned with losing the few pounds and beinghealthy, than saving £20 a month in groceries.

Ok, off to finish my cuppa and put my feet up - tired of course:o

Ok, not posted much recently - still feeling rubbish.
Anyway, had a 7hour visit to hospital yesterday, arrghhh, and didnt even get the scan I needed in the end. But....they do think it's the Crohn's, a narrowing of the small intestine probable, so at least I'm nearer to knowing what it is causing the pain.

Anyway, I'm off work for the rest of the week and then it's the 2 week Easter break, so lots of time to get better - but still need to scan to tell us exactly what it is so it can be treated.

Just realised it's the end of March, so must set new targets for the Aril challenges and get organised again. I have about £14 coming from Quidco any day, so a little to add to the savings/holiday fund. I have a huge bag of stuff to photograph and get on ebay, which I could try and do thi week - at least it doesnt require much physical effort, just patience in writing the listings;)

I did our food shopping on Sunday and forgot to take my sister's 10% discount card - would have saved me £5, not impressed! Also I took DD2 to New Look for a top and bought myself a jumper too - but clean forgot to use the £20 voucher in my purse - my head relly wasn't with it on Sunday:D

Girls due home from school soon, my peace will be gone;)

Just a quick one - £14.20 from Quidco on it's way, so that'll get plonked in savings account when it arrives.
Really must get listing on ebay this week, I have so many summer clothes (the girls') to get rid of.
It's both my girles birthdays next month so need to start thinking about presents. DD1 wants a new phone, so that's fine, she gets that and nothing else! DD2 doesn't know what she wants;)

Just taken my painkillers and they make me very drowsy, so off to lie on the sofa for a while, then get dressed and nip in to work to get one of the teachers to sign some of my NVQ stuff - then I can hand it in to college, all finished!

Argh I'm still feeling carp, v sore tonight so lying on my bed. Have fed the girls, with a struggle, I'm so fed up of this. Got the scan date through - 2 weeks today, butI can't carry on like this for 2 more weeks:eek: So I've made an appt with my GP for wed afternoon as I need him to refer me to my Crohn's doc at the hospital. The scan that came through is for a small bowel scan, so limited diet before and they kindly enclosed some laxatives to take the night before too:rolleyes: So obviously they are sure it's the Crohn's, so why am I just waiting, still in pain, when every other time I've been given a dose of steroids that's worked quickly?!!!

Well, hopefully I'll get to see the hospital doctor and get sorted soon, this is getting me down now.

Anyway, I did get 14 bits on ebay yesterday, that's the most useful thing I've done in ages;) One of my car tyres had a slow puncture, been pumping it up regularly - took it in today, typical it needed a new tyre £32. And my small shopping in Tesco came to £56:eek: Still, lots of meat and at least I know we have enough food for the week now.

Well, off to read my book. Bye for now:p
