We've been to town - went on park+ride as it's cheaper than the town car parks.
I spent.....£12 on having my hair cut, £4.80 on Subway lunches for the girls - thought they deserved a treat, £1.09 on 2 bottles of drink for them (bogof of course;) ),£2.95 on facial wash mousse and £2.50 on the bus fare. Girls bought themselves notebooks each and then we came home - nice cheap afternoon. And I returned some trainers I bought 2 weeks ago, I didn't love them enough! So that was £37 back to my card. So really I'm better off for the trip out:rotfl:
G has cheerleading later and E + I will nip to Tesco. Must do my meal plan now so I don't buy anything we don't need:p
I've tried to ring C+G about the Mortgage Exit feee, but when I get through it says a 1ominute wait to speak to someone:eek: Will try again, then if not I'll write to them.
Girls are busy with an arty book I bought them for Xmas - making tiny little fashion designs with diff papers, ribbons etc - sounds weird but looks fab! They're making 'Style files' - E wants to be a fashion designer;) I'm off to tidy up and mayb look thro my huge pile of clothes to ebay:TI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Had a big surprise when I checked my online banking today - the 'bills' account had £1700 in it:eek: Got all excitied, thought maybe I had a tax credit overpayment hahaha...but it was the Virgin transfer gone through. I've just set up the direct debit for that card as I've read about people who didn't and as they had paperless billing they missed a payment and then you lose the 0% offer. So I have £1500 to transfer onto the loan later - but I want to not pay next month's £86 repayment on the 1st and use the £1500 as next month's payment if that makes sense? It's because my housing benefit goes in on the 9th of Mrack, Rent's due on the 10th so the SO always comes out a bit earlier - so my HB won't be in in time to pay the rent. WIll only be a little short, about £100, so if I can save that £86 loan repayment then that'll help.
Girls still asleep, it's lovely and quiet:p The car's going for it's MOT later on...fingers crossed;) Last year cost me about £250 as it needed a new windscreen, but hopefully this one will be cheaper:o
I'm feeling very lazy - I really haven't done much in half term and we're halfway through the week. I know I need to be having a rest as the Crohn's has been playing up a bit, but I hate wasting the week. Fell asleep yesterday afternoon for about 1 1/2 hrs and still slept last night, so guess i needed it!!
I've sorted a huge pile of clothes to list on ebay - just need to get ironing and taking pics of it all. Maybe I'll do that this morning after I've had a shower.
Took girls swimming yesterday, my friend and I watched. Spent £14 altogether, including the bus fare and pasties all round afterwards. Today will be cheap (apart from the MOT of course), tomorrow we have no plans and Fri they're seeing their dad. So not a costly half term for me - luckily my 2 like to stay at home;)
Ok, must get off and do something useful....I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Well the car wasn't too bad - failed as I expected, but on a few small things. One tyre needs replacing, headlamp needed fixing so I had to go find a special clip for it! Also one rear fog light had a piece of black tape over it - mind you that tape has been there sincebought the car 3 years ago and it's never failed on that, but now has
And a small split in the bodywork, by my door - it's miniscule but I have to get it welded. All very annoying and inconvenient really!!!
I spent £18 today on a schoolbag for G, jogging trousers for E and hairclips for school. I really hated spending that;) And rabbit food and bottle, that's all, not bad. Not going out tomorrow, so hopefully get an NSD in. I like being at work, NSDs much easier to get then!!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
And I've just listed more stuff on ebay - have 18 items there now. One broken Nintendo DS is on £21 with 4 days to go....pleased with that:p All goes to the holiday fund;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0

STILL can't get through to C+G about the mortgage exit fees....when I ring I get told it may be up to 15min til my call is answered:mad: So I must write to them today...
Checked online banking and my Tax Credits have gone in - and gone up by over £2 a week, so that's an extra £10 a month;) I rang them last week with my yearly earnings, which were a little lower than last year so I guess that's why they've gone up.
I've been trying to find up about how much money I'll have if I do the Foundation degree in September. I guess I'll have 2 years of tuition fees to pay back - just over £3000 each year. Although I'd get a loan to cover that I'll still have over £6k at the end to pay back - and I already have about £2k of student loan going back years. Hmmmmmmmmm. I'd be eligle for the full maintenance loan too - over £4k, but again that's a loan
Girls just getting up now, I must get dressed!I really need to sort out a new signature!0
