Still in my dressing gown - Em not feeling well so she's on sofa all wrapped up, making funny noises every now and then:eek: Wasn't planning doing anything today anyway so she can just stay on the sofa;)
Here's a list of what I need to get done - hopefully it'll spur me into doing some of it:p- Clean bathroom
- Dust/tidy/hoover girls room, my room and down the stairs.
- Dust/tidy/hoover lounge
- Clean kitchen, mop floor
- College work
- Ebay a few more bits
- Ironing
- Check Feb's budget and bank account
- Maybe do Tesco shop online if madam doesn't feel better...as I'm planning to go in the morning!!
- make some hobnobs.....but was going to get Em to do it, so maybe not;)
- Clean rabbit...but it's darn cold out there, I don't fancy venturing out:o
Ok, first job I think should be....go and get showered and dressed!!!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hello people,
Back to work after my lovely long weekend - I could get used to 3 days off;)
NSD no. 2 for me today:T I did post some parcels...the DS games are selling well on ebay.
My Tesco shopping came yesterday....£62:eek: Did have to get a couple of bits today that they didn't deliver (which is in grocery budget so didn't spoil my NSD, after all I would have bought them yesterday had Tesco had them in!!)I did get a lot of meat in that delivery - the 3 for £10, which should last us ages - a huge mince, 4 pork steaks and pack of chicken. I was very tired last night so didn't cook from my meal plan, just used some bits out freezer for girls and I had toast, then an easy pasta+sauce tonight. So the 2 meals I planned are still to be made, so lots of food in. Hopefully will just need fruit, veg, milk and bread this weekend. I really should cut our groceries down but I don't really see how much more I can cut!!! In Jan I ended up spendng £245...but I guess that does include all our lunches too.
Finally got my £10 deposit back from Take a Break bingo site - what a palaver that was, so much ID they needed to see - which I was a bit wary about giving but it's all gone through OK and my £10 on it's merry way back:p I've withdrawn my 1st £10 from Littlewoods bingo...that took a month, so really pleased with that money for nothing:j Also my refund from New Look finally arrived - £9 back. I returned the top on 14ht Jan...took them long enough to refund meMust chase up the £10 credit from Phones4u that I was told I'd receive a cheque for....a month ago!
I need to look into the cost to me of going to college in Sept to do the Foundation degree. I'll lose a day of work each week, but I think I'll get a grant due to my measy salary...just not sure how much. (Also no council tax:T )
So.......off for a little browse abut here, [STRIKE]nose[/STRIKE]read some other diaries!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I can't sleep:mad:
Woke up at 3.30 and just happened to see outside that the roofs were rather white:eek: So had a closer look and it's snowed again in the early hours. Last night the roads were ok as a lot of snow melted yesterday, but now it's completely white again, roads are covered.
So now I'm worried as I'm meant to be going to a gym competition with some children so have to drive to work today:o Then I decided I'd walk, as it isn't far...but I still need to drive at lunchtimeSo now hoping it's cancelled. Then I thought, what if my eldest's school is shut? She's only 11, I've never left her for lobger than 2hours at home so don't fancy doing it all day....but would my school get funny if I stay off as G needs to be off?!!
Arghhh...too many things to think about so I'm up with a coffee and had to put heating on too:mad:
I don't feel too tired - good job I went to bed early! Not much point going back to bed really, noly for the alarm to go off at 6.15.....may as well make use of the time!!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hooray, school's are shut today:beer:
We were open yesterday but not many children in and today had a text at 7.30 to say we were shut, thank goodness:j
So must keep busy and get stuff done.....think I feel a list coming on....- Washing on,then on airers
- Dust then hoover lounge
- Hoover stairs
- Tidy desk...it's piled high with junk
- Cook cottage pie for dinner
- College work
- CLean kitchen floor
- Did my scratchcards...10p and 50p...woohoo

Loads of snow again last night and it's still coming down thich and fast! Eldest's school is shut, not heard about primary where I work...fingers crossed!I really need to sort out a new signature!0

I did everything on yesterday's list apart from college work and cleaning kitchen floor - but maybe I'll be off today to do it;)
At least this weather helps with petrol costs and NSDs...I HATE driving in any adverse weather conditions, so I have only taken the car out once this week - one evening to take E to Brownies when a lot of the snow had melted!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
You get up WAY too early!
I agree, the snow is keeping me indoors and away from the shops. I can't say I'm being very productive though. I won't put the heating on, just the fire in the living room. So the only thing I can really do is sit online! Oh dear.

Arghhhhhhhh I rang up Lloyds to pay some of my loan off....but I didn't know I can only use a debit card to pay off....not my lovely shiny new Virgin card at 0%
So now I have this new card with no balance to transfer on it!!!!! So might just transfer the Egg balance (£1k) onto it as that 0% deal runs out in Sept...just incase I don't pay it off by then, which may not happy as I'm trying to pay for my holiday....
What a pr@t......wish I'd known I couldn't use a credit card to pay a loan first....durrrrrrrrrrI really need to sort out a new signature!0
