The farm trip was fun - well as much fun as you can have on a farm, in wellies, with 30 6yr olds:D
No, it was a good few hours out of school...!!
Anyway, I rang Virgin up to check whether I could use the credit card cheques into my current account and they just did it over the phone - so £1500 will be winging it's way into that account which I can then pay off the loan. 0% 'til next May. My Egg card's 0% runs out this Sept I think so need to attempt to pay some of that off in case I can't get another 0% come September. I doubt I'll get it paid off as I'm using any extras right now as holiday money....ho hum, such extravagance going on holiday really...but we deserve it after all the stress of moving house last yr and no holiday then;)(that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it:D )
NSD today - I need to nip to the PO later, more ebay stuff which doesn't count. Yesterday was NSD...only money out of Grocery budget. Groceries have got high again, what do I buy?!!
I've finished one more NVQ unit, so now on the very last one:T I've spoken to the head and deputy at school about the Foundation degree and it's fine for me to do it, so mission for the hols is to get my UCAS form finished - just the personal statement to do, which is daunting, but I can do it:p
Quiet weekend ahead -E off to see Holiday on Ice tomorrow with brownies so I'll take G to gym then we'll go have a little wander round town, and I can return the trainers I bought 2 weeks ago that I'm not sure about - £37 back into my account;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Well I've had an unexpected NSD - not through choice though:rolleyes: One daughter was on a Brownie trip today so eldest and I were going to have a nice day- take her to gym then to town for a bit. But no, as soon as her friend texts asking her to do something with her she quickly arranges that and I end up spending the afternoon at home on my own, great fun! I was just upset that she happily changed her plans and didn't bother that I'd wanted to go out with her. Maybe I'm being daft, but I wanted to go out with her:o
Oh well. Both are home now, youngest had good day out and is on the wii, eldest upstairs, don't think we're speaking much to each other
But hey, I didn't spend any money....didn't do anything actually as was in too much of a grump, had no motivation at all to do housework or college work - so lay on sofa and watched an old dvd, then pootled about on here.
Dinner in oven now - home made burgers and chips....was soooo tempted with a takeaway but resisted;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Kids eh?

Hooray...another NSD:beer: I'm getting good at these now!! We went to meet my mum and dad for coffee and cake by a lake today and even thought I offered to pay they wouldn't let me:o We came home after that and all I've donw is list on ebay....yawn yawn. But I do have 10 items on there now - including 2 broken DSs, which I'm rather hopeful about making a few pounds on. I had a look at the completed listings and they can go for anything up to £50. One of them works fine, just one of the hinges broken, so must be some use to some clever, technical person;)
I have bags of clothes to list so will look through that tomorrow and iron and take photos - it's so tedious though and takes so much time. Also got some nice bikinis of mine and girls but might hang on with those til the weather gets better and people are thinking about summer more:p
Been looking into claiming back Mortgage exit fees. We changed mortgage lenders a good few years ago, from C+G to Northern Rock, so might have a go at ringing C+G to see if we are owed anything. I have a mortgage account number (that was a miracle I still had it;) ). Also we changed from Someone else to C+G a few yrs before that. You never know, worth a try!! Need to make money from somewhere to pay for this holiday;)
Anyway, off to watch Dancing on Ice with a coffee:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Good luck with claiming mortgage exit fees.

Well done on your Ebay listing, it's all I've been doing all weekend! Boring as hell.
I hope the DSs shoot up for you. Sounds like you have a winner there.Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044!
