Aaah yes it is...I hadn't thought of that actually! I haven't worked since March 13th as i was ill, so have just had the equivalent of the summer hols off....mad:D So, I'm actually lookin forward to going back, I do love my job when I feel well:p
On the sofa now with laptop, little glass of wine and tv....bliss....and to be surrounded by a clean, tidy room is a treat:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Good morning.....and a lovely sunny one here:D
I planned to get up early so I'd be nice and tired for my early night before work tomorrow, but slept til 9ish...oh well
I'm feeling quite weary though and the Crohn's ache was niggling in the night, nothin much, I just think the busy few days might catch up with me....I really must slow down a bit! So planning a reasonable chilled day ready for back to school;)
Got sausage sarnies cooking now, then will have my shower and get dressed. 1st load of washing is on, then need to do girls' bedding.
Let's write a list eh...?- Clean bathroom
- Dust/hoover/tidy my room and girls' room
- Hoover landing and down the stairs
- Bag up the ebay clothes I sorted (in piles on the landing right now;))
- A little ironing.....maybe?!
- Get bags and uniforms ready for the morning
- Clean out rabbit
Ex gave me a tenner last night...and his kind mum gave some money for girls' clubs due this week. I just need a couple of no spending weeks and I'll feel back on track!
I bought G 2 things in New Look last week, but they're still in the bag. It's her bday in 3 weeks and all she wants in New Look vouchers, so I'm thinking I'll take the stuff back and if she really wants it, then she can buy it!! Also I found printable 15% off vouchers so the stuff should go back anyway and we can buy it back and save:beer:
Right, off to check the sausages and then go get dressed.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Aaaarrrgggh I'm shattered, completely and utterly! I've ironed, taken a few pics of ebay things to list later. Then I went and started chopping a hug tall bush down, as it stops sun getting to my washing line in the late afternoon. Then I decided to clean out the rabbit and move his cage and run to the back of the garden....not spoiling my patio;)
Then I thought I'd cut the back lawn, but the mower only reaches so far and the grass was very long and damp and lawnmower couldn't cope - so I got on my knees and chopped away at the grass with the shears!I must be mad....I'm worn out...and still need to go out and rake up all thatI've hacked at! but...it looks much better. Can't face the front garden today, it's not big luckily, maybe I'll do it after school one day.
Chicken is in the oven, eldest dd out with her pal and youngest gone to se eif any friends want to play. I must go and do the bathroom nw...it can't wait. Girls room can wait - they tidied it earlier and a little dust can wait a day or so:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
NSD number 7 today:j
I did fancy going out to buy plant tubs, flowers, veg seeds and compost but wanted that NSD more;) Might go to the shop after school one day.
Garden looking much better, had a tidy up of it too, a much nicer place to sit now:p
DD2 now just popped out to the park for an hour, the chicken's cooked, just need to boil some pots andsavoury rice, chop some salad and dinner's done.
Off to clean the bathroom quickly now:rolleyes:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Wow Milly, steady on with the gardening!! Dont overdo it honey!! Sounds great though!
Well done on the NSD - I just cant seem to manage them - always seems to be something!! *note to self: make more effort to achieve NSDs!!*0 -

Even though I am shattered, my legs and feet ache and I feel grubby, I'm really pleased with what I've done:p Garden looks ten times better, rabbit relegated to the back, found him a bit off-putting on the patio - especially if we have any bbqs:rotfl:
Back to work tomorrow, everyhting's ready, well apart from my bag of stuff, but chuck my pencil case in my handbag and I'm good to go;)
As for the NSDs....I need 5 more this month which should be do-able. Mind you my toasted went wrong yesterday - thought it was the fuse so bought more, but every time i put the toaster on the whole house lost electric:eek: So have just binned it, but need a new one....darn:rolleyes:
Better go have another shower now - I washed my hair all ready for tomorrow, but got so hot doing the garden I'd better do it again:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Evening all!
Had a good day back at work -really nice to be back;)
I nipped to PO at lunchtime to pay in cheque from ex mil and return lovefilm dvd, so no spend. Took lunch and drinks to work, free tea there so no money there either.
Came home to a letter from Elephant who I cancelled insurance with, but as it was in ex'c name he ahd to ring - I'd told them we were cancelling they just needed his confirmation - he reckoned he rang loads and couldnt get throAnyway, I get a letter saying they've cancelled from 13/4, and charging 330 for it?! So I rung and said how come, I told them I'd cancelled, had returned cert of insurance and how can they charge more than a months insurance for only a few days over?! Nice man let me off the charge:beer:
Have filled in my Tax Credit renewal, that was easy - but I'm sure each year I fill it in, I earn less! Oh well. So that's all done, hopefully my payments may increase a weeeee bit!
Dinner all made - HM pizza and wedges. Nice to have it all done early:D
Not much else - am eagerly checking the bank account, hoping money from ex has gone in....you never know:rolleyes:
Listed a few more bits on ebay last night, and one buy-it-now sold overnight....profit £8ish...so that's all wrapped and ready to post tomorrow.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Oh and NSD number 8:beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0
