  • Morning!
Just up and showered, need to go do the food shopping when I'm all ready. My meal plan is all done and the list.

Very pleased as when I checked my emails I saw that all 3 of E's games that I listed on ebay last night have sold, making her about £33, that was easy. Must list some of G's when she tells me which ones!!

Have a few of my jobs from yesterday's list still to do. Here's today's.....
    • Do the food shopping
    • Clean kitchen, mop floor
    • Finish tidying dining table, nearly clear!
    • College work
    • Ironing
    • Make up girls' beds, bedding all washed
    • Make my soup
    • Parcel up the 3 DS games to post tomorrow
I think that's all for now.

I've done the food shopping, didn't think I'd bought too much, just what we needed, but it was £54:eek: That did include a 16-pack of Duracell batteries for £5, was an 8pack with 8 free. Those'll last us for ages! I just knew we didn't have any spares and if I get on the wii fit later, I don't want it running out on me, as I know it's going to soon!!!

I've just given the kitchen a really good clean and scrubbed out the goldfish tank. I put him back in and he's gone all still, hope the shock hasn't killed him:o Just mopped the floor too so am sitting in the corner on PC and my excuse is I have to stay here as the floor's wet and don't want to step on it;)

Not sure what's next on my list to do...... May get all the stuff ready for dinner (doing a roast) and put some soup on...yum butternut squash.

That's me had a nice, busy weekend...all jobs on my list got done...bar the college work:o Must get it out tomorrow and write exactly what I need to get done.

The exercise dvd I listed on ebay sold this evening, so another £8 for me. E very pleased with the £33 she's made from selling her games!

Have enough food in for the week so hopefully have a few more NSDs. Luckily I don't go near shops during the day and come straight home after work so there's not any temptations;)

Ex even gave me some money today...so that'll help towards the clubs. (well it was a cheque from his mum so he owes her now, but that's his problem not mine:p )

Must go and parcel up the 3 DS games to send dtomorrow and I can pay in my cheque and cash ex gave yesterday.

    Back to work again:confused:

    Evening all;)
Rather tired today as the wind and rain kept waking me up last night, so it'll be an early one tonight.
Had a letter from Lloyds loan dept today with a statement of my loan - which showed when I rang to stop the PPI and the new loan amount. It also showed that I paid the monthly repayment in Jan and the loan figure now stands as showin they owe me £102. So I rang up to query it and she agreed I was owed the money so it'll be in the bank by Friday....coool that £102 will ease the burden of the clubs being due this month!! So very pleased about that.
I paid in £70 too to my current account that the ex gave and posted the DS games. Also received payment for the exercise dvd and a book on Amazon sold, so another £8 and £4 to add to the summer sizzler:D I'll add it all on when it hits my account - still waiting for an Amazon payment from last week to come to my account.

Not much else to report - 7th NSD today as all I spent was the postage. Paid £10 in and then withdrew from Take a Break Bingo so that's 2 daily scratchcards to do now...I'm liking these a lot:p 25p and 10p today, it all adds up.

Poor Em has toothache so hoping it goes away, been on and off recently and I forgot to ring dentist today:o Hopefully it'll go now she's had some paracetamol and will sleep ok....I hate sleepless nights:eek:

    Anyway, off to finish dinner.

Hiya....Yep I'm hoping to get that paid off this month! As it's my 1st month with bank account separated it's probably a little tighter than usual - I'm now going to live off the £140 TC each week, which is plenty, but at the mo the new spending account only has £20 left in it until the month of TC build up! However, another £140 will go in this Thurs and I don't need to buy anything other than food until next Thurs....well I do need work shoes as mine have holes in;) But I'm waiting and delaying buying them....such a boring thing to buy too:p

But in a couple of weeks I shall get that Next card gone. TBH I could take the money out of a savings account, but want to try and never touch that and live off the current accounts.

So far it's working ok!! It should make it much easier to see what I have left each month. the old account is having HB, CB and wages paid in which almost exactly covers my rent and all DDs each month. So have my weekly Tax Credits into new account to pay for food, groceries and anything else! So far this month I've not spent much at all, just groceries really. Really pleased:j

    Urggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh:mad:
I rang Southern Electric as my monthly payment hasn't been covering my usage and I'm £118 in debit to to them. Anyway, according to them I use £63 of electric a month and to cover the amount I owe my monhtly payment has gone from £25 to £83....    Not impressed at all so going to take a meter reading and see exactly how much we're using, I'm sure it hasn't been £40 more than I've been paying!! We only live in a 2-bed house, lights are out if we're not in rooms, don't use a tumble dryer, washing machine only 2 or 3 times a week....hmmm mad.

Anyway, took E to dentist today about her achy tooth and they whipped it out! Poor thing, she looked worried, but was very god and went back to school as they had music this afternoon and she wnated to play her tenor horn;)

She's now at brownies - I paid the £20 subs in cash so I know it's gone now, no nasty cheques disappearing sometime soon!!! I paid her guitar lessons by cheque in Sept and the cheque came out in Dec...not impressed, so they're having cash too:rolleyes:

8th NSD today....it's quite easy as I don't go near shops in my normal day...straight to school, straight home! Prob won't spend all week now.

Been wishing I had a bigger freezer, so I could have spare bread, rolls etc in it...thought about buying a small one and putting under dining table. TBH we never eat at the table, never...but it looks nice! Such a waste of speace tho, a freezer would be much more useful. I see reduced loaves, meat etc and wish I could stock up.....will have a think.
