Had a quiet at-home day, really nice. Managed to persuade G she didn't really want to go to town, so she did her art homework instead. I nearly had an NSD but had to buy glue for her and I posted my letter to Lloyds about the PPI so that cost £1.08 as I got it sent recorded. Bought a baguette, brie and toms for lunch and used co-op vouchers that magically appeared in my purse, bargain!
Have done nothing much this afternoon, tidied a little and then lay and watched one of the girls Xmas dvds. Made our own pizza for dinner, well Tesco value bases and E topped them for me. I'm going to go and find the pile of paper I printed out about matched betting now and try yet again to get my head round it!!
Off to my sis again tomorrow for my niece's birthday party and staying overnight at my Mum's. Home early on Sun hopefully, ready to get stuff together for us all to go back to school on Mon, where have the hols gone??I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Back home from our 3rd trip to my sis in 10days! I had my 2nd NSD of Jan yesterday, we just went to my niece's party, back to my sis for a cuppa then to Mum's for the evening and slept there.
Today I took back a pot I bought from Argos as itwasn't big enough, so £10 back on my card and also a present G got for Xmas that broke, so £14 back to her. Home again, with roast in the oven and E doing homework and G in her room.
I need to get off my backside and do some ironing, back to work tomorrow:eek: But only 6 weeks til half term........not that I'm counting;)
Had to buy a few bits of food for this week - came to £12 though, was NOT impressed that the grapes I bought cost £3.60...I won't be buying them again til they're cheaper, healthy or not
Think I have enough food til the weekend....might need milk before then, and bread, but that should be all. On thurs when I get my TC I'll move it to my new account and can use the account at last!! Right now it's empty, all my money is in the dd account as rent's out next week. But all looks ok, providing I don't spend this week!!!
Off to iron before we try and get an early night, ready for the alarm at 6.30am tomorrow:eek: :eek:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Heya MS,
Hope you managed to get yourself up this morning! And E & G! My Em's has a Teacher's Training Day today so I have today off with her and am back to work tomorrow tooI have absolutely LOVED just waking up and getting up when I wanted with noooo alarms! And know that I am gonna find it very, very difficult tomorrow. I am on a training course in town too until Thursday so will probably be getting the train is or bus as noooo way I am driving as will be insane!
Sounds like you have had a fab holiday. Emily has actually been alright for the last few days but then started getting rather hyped up...you just can't win! But rather she be on one than moody!
Went up to bed last night and she had left me a note on the stairs informing me her mobile is bust and she has no idea how! Seems like she has locked the sim card, great! Silly begger...but another good reason for her not to get a lovely new phone like she keeps on harping on about!!! I should be able to sort it though hopefully but won't be letting her know that just yet!
Well done on getting so organised already! I keep meaning to do things but am having great problems motivating myselfWill get there in the end though!
Righteo, off to make brekkie. Must make sure I get everything ready later for tomorrow so the wake up call goes as smoothly as possible! Take care xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
