Met my mum and dad today for coffee then I went to Tesco, urgh it was busy!! And not sure how but spent £67:eek: I did buy the girls a mobile/ipod pouch thingy each, they were reduced to £3 each. And I got some Xmas alcohol to take to my sisters and lots of pepsi. Definitely got everything I need now.
Tomorrow we're having a baking day - peppermint creams, malteser cake and chocolate truffles. Girls like to give these as pressies. My sis and bro-in-law are coming here on Tues with their 3 girls so that'll be lovely, then my 2 out with their dad on Xmas eve, so I can just relax - as I wrapped all their stuff this afternoon:T What a job, I usually do it Xmas eve, so it's fab that I've done it early!!!
Got another hour or so til girls back so will pootle around on here til then;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

That's what I've done so far - Xmas baking didn't actually involve any baking as we did peppermint creams, truffles and malteser cake, all just chilling now! Might do more later, will see how much that lot makes.
Bought highlight kit, will put it on tonight. Stripped beds, on radiators now and need to clean later on...I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

This evening I've cleaned the bathroom and made up the girls' beds.
Will maybe attack some ironing tomorrow before my sis comes to visit.
I've posted on the reclaiming PPI thread as I have a big sum of PPI on the Lloyds loan I have. I was wondering if I could reclaim as if I was ever off work ill due to the Crohn's then they wouldn't pay out as it's a pre-existing condition I have. I can't remember if I told them this when I took out the loan, it's not in writing in any of the documents I have. That's the only reason I'm ever off work really, so if it flared up and I was off for a while then the insurance wouldn't pay up. Hmmm, maybe I'll try the reclaiming, worth a go anyway. I borrowed £4k in April 07 and now, over 18monhts later I still owe £4400!! Mad.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hi Milly - just catching up with my favourite threads! Sounds like you are going great guns - well done on clearing one of those debts completely - that is a real boost - and a fab lead into Christmas! :T0

Hiya!
It is fab definitely! I'm feeling all inspired and motivated right now - keeping my new notebook and diary, ready to make overpayments on stuff in the New Year!
I've even just printed out a letter to Lloyds asking for my PPI back as I feel they shouldn't have sold it to me, what with the Crohn's - a pre-existing condition would mean I couldn't claim if it made me ill, so pointless having the PPI for me!
Must get off to bed soon, got to go to PO tomorrow and post the letter in the morning, as well as put the highlights on my hair, tidy up a bit before my sis and family some!!
I'm feeling pretty darn organised right now, a good feeling:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
