I rang Lloyds to canecel the PPI on my loan, which was easy enough - and she took off about £600, new loan amount now £3834.43...
Which takes my overall debt to under £5k...I now owe £4993.87 altogether, and I'm really excited it's gone down so much!!!;)
Had a credit card statement today - there's £70 on it but that's being refunded by Phones4u soon, they sent me 2 phones for E for XMas  Anyway, I noticed on that statement I pay PPI too, and I'm sure I never asked for that.....it's not a problem now as the balance on the card is usually zero (when the phone money's refunded) but until June that card was on £4k so I must have been paying a big whack on PPI....I'll be sending them a letter too - I'm sure I never asked for that and again, the Crohn's thing applies.
Oh I'll be debt-free this time next year hopefully:p

Anyway must get cracking with my jobs...girls are out with their dad so lovely and quiet here;)

  • Hello, hope everyone had a lovely, relaxing Christmas.
We had a really good time - at my sister's on Xmas day then to my Mum's on Boxing day. Came home yesterday and girls went to their dad's in the evening. I was shattered, completely - so lay on sofa all night, bed at 10ish and slept til 10. Still in bed now with a coffee.
I did get to the Next sale yesterday with my sister and got a few lovely bits. Picked up a gorgeous cream coat (practical of course!) that was £30 from £65 and I genuinely did need a coat, I couldn't afford one last winter and this year have hung on til the sales. I also got a lovely big bronze handbag, £10 from £28, bargain. Got E a few bits, but not much in the older girls things. I spent £79 as I had a £10 voucher my friend had given me.
SPent £31 on NewLook website on things for G, as it's her that needs clothes really, she's stretched recently! So that was on trousers, 2 tops and PJs.

I have plenty to do today as the house is a mess from us not being here! The girls have a new compact stereo I need to get out of the box and in their room as well as all the other stuff. Luckily the older they get the smaller the presents!!

I also need to ring stupid Phones4u as the duplicate phone they sent me has beed credited to my cc, but they didn't refund me the £10 of phone credit I had to buy with the phone - I returned the whole phone, sim card and credit on it, and as they stupidly sent me 2 phones then they can refund me that!!

I think I'll fiddle about with my money today, after I've tidied, and set some budgets for Jan. I'm looking forward to being really organised and get those debt figures reduced. (Hmmmmm sometimes I think I should get a life:rotfl: )

    Bye for now......:p
