At long last I have hit over 1150 points on Pigsback so after about 5 months I have enough for a £10 voucher:j Just ordered a Waterstones one, so it will be useful for a present for my stepdad...and I could always spend it on myself;)
We're going to stay at my mum's tonight, she's taking the girls out to Cadbury garden centre this afternoon and I'll do a bit of shopping - not much left I need to get. That's a first - it's not even December yet;)
Must go and do my hair and tidy up before my friend comes for a coffee while our girls are at gym club.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hi there
Well done on getting more organised. This thread has been my days reading, whilst popping out to do other things!
Sorry to hear that he has lost his job. One lucky thing with you still seeing his family, is that at least they would know if this was a fib to get out of paying.
I am well impressed with the co-op insurance cash back. You must be very pleased.
Don't forget to pay off those niggling cards. It will improve your credit score if nothing else.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hi Chevalier,
Well I don't see his family now really, I don't mind at all. His 3 sisters drove me insane anyway;)
Life is a lot easier when I don't talk to him haha. Mind you, we get on fine, I just don't wish to hear about his new life with the girlfriend...like I care??!!!
Now I'm on my own I am in complete control of the money, and it's lovely. We were both hopeless spenders and together had no idea about money. So nice to have it under control now and know exactly what's in the bank and what outgoings I have. Just need to clear the 2 catalogues now, only about £140 together I think...
In the New Year I'm going to start overpaying the loan I have...
I haven't ever included my student loans as debts as I've never had to repay them due to my low income. I probably have £2k owing to them but have no chance of earning any more in the near future so imagine they'll carry on unpaid for a while yetI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Had my 2nd NSD of Decemeber, been off work with ropey tummy, damn crohn's:mad:
I did buy breakdown cover from RAC though, but not counting that as a spend as it's essential. It was £33 online, that included a 28% discount and I went through Quidco and £21 has tracked...cool, £12 for my breakdown cover!
Had my £131 payment from Quidco in the bank yesterday....lovely. It's been moved over to the savings account, will try and leave it there! This time of the month is always a bit tight - mt rent of £600 comes out next week, but got TC going in tomorrow so I manage. After that I don't have many payments coming out of my account til the 1st of next month, and TC/HB still gets paid in, so I manage quite well.
Quiet night, just done girls' tea. My tummy not been feeling like big dinners so just been nibbling and having toast:oI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Oh and I cracked open my terramundi last night....counted most of it and there was £137, didn't count the pile of 5p though, but think there'll be about £145 altogether - nice!! That'll go in the savings too once I get it bagged up.I really need to sort out a new signature!0
