My mood is a little better today, though not made much headway.

We are looking into getting a joint account for the bills, but might be difficult to open one given the current credit crunch.

I have 2 accounts, a friend suggested I could change one to a joint account?

I think you should be able to change it to a joint account Brody. As for the council tax figures try this:-

    http://www.upmystreet.com/local/council-tax/l/Glasgow.html

it gives a table of the council tax costs.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

But doesn't band A work out cheaper than the amount you're being asked for?

Sadly the council got their maths right on this one.

And still no sign of my xbox!
It was picked up by UPS at 3am on Friday - do they walk back from Germany?

So over a week til payday, and not a penny to my name.
Not sleeping at all, this is killing me.
Got the doctors today as well.
No idea how I'll get to work until payday.

I take it walking isn't an option? How much petrol do you have? If you have some can you park further away and walk the rest? Did you get the child benefit sorted? (sorry for all the questions)

    Hi all,

Sorry for the lack of updates.
Was a real struggle up to payday there.

So, after a right earbashing from my sister, I've asked my mum to talk to Dad about the loan situation. Felt awful doing it, but that's nearly £200 a month I'm down - and as my sis said, I was paying that instead of digs & I don't live there any more....
    I'll keep you all posted.

Also trying to get my credit report

Well done on chatting to your Mum and Dad, I know it probably wasn't easy.
