Evening all
My mum had 'whiter shade of pale' & 'I will survive' at her funeral, her choice, though not everyone approved. My dad had 'Impossible dream' from Man of La Mancha, I've already told my kids, I want Jerusalem as I'm a W.I. member & Build me up buttercup, because it's so cheerful.
Still no sign of the master copy of the school newsletter that should have gone out today, it's the old head who's holding it up. I shall certainly try & get paid for any overtime I do, but it's not likely.
I'm sure my BP is through the roof DG, I should be on medication for it.
BIL has gone gokarting this weekend so we have a couple of day's to ourselves.
Congrats to Lilmiskitkat & Miss Stef & Miss Squiggly.

I have been thinking that maybe 'Memories are made of this' as its a Dean Martin song but it seems a little upbeat when the coffin goes through those curtains.

I want 'Bring me Sunshine' by Morecambe and Wise and everyone has to do the dance when they leave

There's nothing wrong with upbeat, if it's something your Mum liked. When one of Mr LW's best pals left us last October, they had Fanfare for the Common Man.... simply because it was one of his favourite pieces of music.

went to asda quite a few 50p offers on again, had a lazy day after yesterday though did have a longish walk in the afternoon, am glad i turned the diningroom into a little sittingroom for winter what with the way the gas prices are going to up

littlemisskitkat congratulations :T What a little cutie

I got confused buying my bread tins :rolleyes: I wanted some 2lb tins but they said '30cm' or '22cm' Mr troo asked which I wanted and I didn't have a clue :rolleyes: Found some eventually, lol.

Choc chip muffins do NOT taste nice if you forget the sugar, luckily I tried a bit from the mixing bowl, had to scrape them all back in and add the sugar :mad: so glad I did imagine the if I hadn't:rotfl::rotfl:.

Think I might have another baking marathon tomorrow while I'm home alone-everyone else has made plans for the day...so it's just me (cry).
Pity no one lives close by to me, I could do with a coffee and a natter!!!

Nothing like the relief when I was a class teacher though - so happy hols to all those classroomers who finished today!

Anyway **trying desperately to think what's she's read, when the brain has already departed to somewhere sunny with palm trees and cocktails** congrats on cute baby, glad the uncle is doing well after his op and sorry about the flu...........did I do ok?

Having my daily fix of men in lycra - our man Mark is doing ok isn't he????
