My hubby is the kindest man in the world. He'll happily help with anything in the kitchen, house or garden if he thinks I am getting snowed under.

This morning, I heard a gentle scratching and went into the kitchen to find him, sharp knife in hand, scraping the doughy paddle of my pride-and-joy Panasonic breadmaker. When I nearly shrieked at the little pile of scratched off Teflon and breadcrumbs, he just said he was trying to be helpful.

My family have learned to be really helpful when asked, but not to get in my way ;) I'll add this to the Old Style Daily where we talk about the ups and downs of our Old Style day. You're bound to get more stories :D

  • Morning Guys!

    Hugs to all in need.

Aussielass-I can't explain as my solicitor is away for 2 weeks, but with the evidence we had and the copy of notes we received etc, I suppose they couldnt do anything else but admit their mistake.

WM has been on and DW needs to go on soon. We still need to pack our clothes etc. House generally tidy.

DD finishes at noon today then she has broken up for the holidays:j :j :j

We are leaving in the morning at around 10.30am, so in the morning we need to strip the beds and make sure all tidy. The fridge has been emptied and wiped out.

Nothing OS really going on today. I think we will watch a film this afternoon as I really need to rest before tomorrow and may get a take-away:o ...fancy some Hagan Daz too.....cookies and cream:D

If I dont get back on...hope you all have a great week.

Special thanks to the OS'er who sent me a thank you card and stamps...there really wasnt any need but bought a tear to my eye....thanks so much, your words meant alot.

    HUgs to all

Extra special BIG hug to Smokey as I wont be able to send one all week:D

congratulations littlemisskitkat - Thomas is gorgeous. I can't believe that he is three weeks old already - seems just a few weeks ago that you announced his was on the way!!!

I love Fridays! Having a quiet day today. should make a start on some of those little jobs I never get round to I suppose! Made yummy cheese scones yesterday as well as some jam tarts - the tarts weren't so yummy though :(

DH was sweet and ate them anyway! I don't think he noticed that much :D
