  • Saw in a previous post, which I now can't find, that your current account must been in credit for 15 days in the last 3 months or something to that effect.

Has anyone managed to get a matched o/d with an almost maxed existing o/d?

    Cheers

Hmm looks like I might have to chase mine up, opened account mid September and the 15 weeks ran out two days ago.

My existing overdraft was matched although it wasnt being used at the time. Dont think it makes much difference though as they simply asked to see my statement which showed that I actually had an overdraft. Besides, surely if you were moving your current account over to them, they would expect your old overdraft to be maxed out.

This thread relates to their last offer.

A&L have a new offer launching tomorrow, which is being discussed here...

Now I've received the £100 incentive, I'm presuming it will be ok to switch my DDs and SOs back to my old account, as long as I keep putting £500 in a month - is that right?

Yes, but you don't even need to keep the account open if you don't want to.

Thanks, but I've put the overdraft into an ISA so will keep it as long as I can keep the overdraft, I think.
