£100 for joining Alliance + Leicester

So I see you can now get £100 if you get A+L's current account.

http://www.alliance-leicester.co.uk/current-accounts/premier-100-switching.aspx?ct=100incentive

That's typical, considering just last week I took out this account when this offer didn't exist! (EDIT: I actually took out the Premier DIRECT current account, not the one mentioned above, so it didn't apply to me anyway).
Oh well, such is life! I even forgot to go through Quidco and get my £50! I've certainly not been on the ball! :o

I just thought I'd mention the offer in case anyone else may benefit from it as it doesn't seem to be in any other threads and not even in the current accounts section of the website.

EDIT: I found out further below I'm not as bad off as I thought. But please anyone feel free to use this forum to discuss this incentive and Allicance and Leicester in general! It seems to be a quick and easy £100!
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

interesting to see co op and A&L doing £100 offers soon after FD finished theirs.

Can I get £50 quidco and a £100 A&L sign up bonus too?

I suspect it's Halifax. I'm in the NHS and we get occasional round robin emails from NHS Discounts. Their email today said NHS staff could get £100 for opening a halifax account. http://www.nhsdiscounts.com/newsletter/halifax/email.html

Frequently, these "offers" are open to non-NHS staff too, but it makes NHS managers feel good to think they're giving us perks!

I could be wrong on this of course.

Martin mentioned a 0% overdraft in addition to the £100.

    Guess we'll know soon enough.

No: This offer is open to customers who we accept for a Premier Current Account opened through https://www.alliance-leicester.co.uk.

They cottoned on to double incentive abuse years ago when people were combining referral with cashback.

Ah, I've just realised that with the £100 account, you only get 1% interest (the PREMIER CURRENT ACCOUNT). I applied last week for a Premier DIRECT Current Account, which pays 8.5% interest.

Makes me feel a lot better about getting my account last week (before the promotion started) as I think over the next 12 months I will get about £100 interest because of this. And, I don't have to close my old HSBC account. :D

How are A&L's customer service at the moment then? Does it matter that I had one of these accounts a few years back? Or will that mean I wont be eligible for this new offer?

As long as you haven't held a current account with them in the last 3 months you will be eligible.

    Hi

Where did you copy + paste this T&C from?

The only one I could find is this:

Other account opening incentives may be available, if you apply in a different way than through www.alliance-leicester.co.uk.

But it doesn't specifically state you cannot combine incentives.
