Managed to get the 4* Renaissance Times Square New York for £90 plus taxes for 26th September (one night only). Total £112
Very pleased with that. Have already posted on better bidding.
Those few minutes between realising that Priceline has found something at your price and having the hotel name revealed can be quite nerve wracking, wondering if you have done the right thing! Also quite addictive. But you do need to do some research first. Not forgetting to read Blindman's guide.0 -
I won NH Budapest 4*dates 20/11/10 for 6 nights for £30 per night plus taxes. Not the best saving or favourite choice of hotel but I'm sure it will be fine.
Blindman or anyone do you know if city/tourist tax is included in PL taxes and charges for Budapest hotels?0 -

I stayed at the Le Meridien in Budapest through priceline a few years ago and all taxes/charges were included. Thee shouldn't be anything more to pay.0 -
Just booked in Brooklyn, NY for $116 per night for the 30th August (cheapest list price was $159) one in Long Island City, NY (one stop on the subway from Manhattan) for $107 per night for the 2nd and 3rd September (list price $145 cheapest).
Best bargain has to be our stay in Philadelphia on the 6th September (Labor Day in the US) - managed to get one night at a 4* for $85 - cheapest room on list was $179!!!0 -
