    Evening all:hello:

I've dusted & hoovered downstairs, watered a few plants, cleaned the bathroom sinks, and made tea. Tuna & sardine pasta. Kitchen is now clean and lunch made for tomorrow.

I was supposed to be on my own tonight, OH had booked a night away at a retreat, but he was too bad today to go. Didn't go to work either. I've just got a bit frustrated with it today. I know it's not his fault and it's worse for him but it's just how I feel today, I did the sympathy thing yesterday and am not really capable of it today. Oh well, fingers crossed he comes out of it tomorrow.

My good news from today is that I was given a bottle of wine at work! I was really touched because I don't think I've done anything that special, just helped someone out with Excel (and not even finished it yet!). Shame I can't have some tonight though!

    (((((Hugs))))) to you all

I love that film, we watched it recently, and I think I actually cheered at the end :o Shame they won't watch it, it really shows what you can do if you try (and it was based on a true story)

Evening folks, I've in work for a few hours today. The colleague who was off sick has returned, but she is only working 3 days for a few weeks.
Mr Twit has almost finished the bathroom cupboards, only the kickers to go round now, so I've started moving my stockpile of toiletries.
Next will be our en-suite, the shower screen has moved and it leaks  so we are going to take it off, clean it up and remove all the old sealant and fix it back. I'm going to take the opportunity to deep clean the room, it's fully tiled, so they could all do with a good going over. (couldn't we all)
The only sticking point I can forsee is that the golf from Birkdale starts tomorrow and so Mr Twit might get engrossed watching that.

Hugs to Chrisca, Pink1970 & Mr 1970, PenPin & Mr PenPin, Candy, Ivyleaf & Celyn.
    Well done Twink.
Good luck to all the job hunters.
Welcome to all the new ones.
Big hugs to those who are poorly or just in need of a huggle.

Love to all The Twit. :grouphug:

Hi everyone. RedRuby - I'm trying but he's not planning on going back to work until next week and I'm finding it so hard to get time on here plus we've been running errands to do with organising DS2's wedding which is looming up fast now! I've really been missing my 'fix' on here especially as, for the last two weeks, I've been a free agent! I feel awful not keeping up with all the news. DH is going out to do a quote tomorrow morning so I intend coming on here for the entire time that he is out!

Hope everyone is OK? I will really try and keep up with you all tomorrow - in between doing another dozen or so wedding favours. The numbers attending the wedding are still changing by the day so I need to make a few for emergencies!

Anyway, will love you and leave you because DH has just run me a nice hot bath!

    See you all later.
