I wasn't aware that I had an account to log into. I signed up over the phone. What would my username be?
I can't get them on the phone, and they haven't replied to my email, although it did get an automatic reply assigning a "case number".
They've taken a years line rental from my account. They say if I don't confirm the engineers appointment they will cancel it. Not sure what else to do.
Martin should REALLY stop recommending this bunch (Primus Telecom)0 -
I've just emailed them again saying I want to cancel. Automated reply has assigned a case number #2364559. My previous email 4 days ago had a case number #2362043 so this would suggest they are getting 600+ emails/problems per day.0

I tried the Online Chat just now (Monday afternoon)
It says "Our offices are closed, leave a message below"0 -
It has always said that whenever I've tried to use it.
(Maybe "someone" will now pop in here and tell us they use it every day without a problem)
The bankers stole my pension (and everyone else's). It should have earned a lot of money, but they took their bonus pot first.0 -
Maybe "someone" will now pop in here and tell us they use it every day without a problemTime has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

I use Primus CPS and have done for years but I do get a little embarrassed when my bill is only 69pSignature removed club member No1.
It had no link, It was not to long and I have no idea why.0 -
If you mean Primus's CPS telephone service, I will tell you that (I've been with them for more than 7 years without any problems).
So, I too have used Primus for 7 years, but now I do have problems, and absolutely no attempt being made to resolve them or even respond in any meaningful way.
My definition of "meaningful" does not include 9 days of auto-response to emails all saying it is being dealt with, when clearly no email has even been read. The bankers stole my pension (and everyone else's). It should have earned a lot of money, but they took their bonus pot first.0 -
I went on money saving website an found tesco broadband and phone bundles offer of £13.75 for line rental and broadband but when i went on the website i found the line rental was £13.25 and broadband was an extra 2.50 on top which does not add up already. 13.25 + 2.50 does not equal 13.75. The broadband offer is normally £6.50 instead of 2.50. When I investigated further on the offer advertised it was now offering me £13.75 line rental and £10.00 broadband which means I pay £23.75 a month for bundle not 13.25 as previously suggested why is this please explain ?0

I have just re-signed with o2 for a further year at half price, full speed and unlimited. Also signed up with BT Line Rental 1 year in advance, works out at £10.75 per month. Also Anytime Calls (also got a deal on this Plan). However I see that there is a new clause
"Your plan excludes calls to dial-up internet and indirect access numbers. Indirect access numbers are numbers you might call to get a lower rate - you call them first, then they connect you. There are a few more exclusions at" www.bt.com/packages/terms !!
Does this mean you can no longer use a carrier such as 18185 for overseas calls ?"0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -
i signed up with tesco on 8th jan as they worked out the cheapest taking into account the tesco vouch and cashback. was informed it would take approx 2 weeks.
after nearly 2 weeks i had not heard anything so gave them a call. was informed it said there was a 'delay' but could not tell me why or how long. was promised a call within 48 hours.
6 days later and no call or other contact i called again and was informed there was a still a delay. still couldnt give me an update. promised a call in 24 hours. no contact yet again.
sent email of complaint- no reponse.
called to cancel today 26 days after order and went to cancellations. she said there was a problem with my line (well it works perfect for sky!) and i was in a queue. still could not tell me when. pointed out the shocking lack of any contact, update or response to complaint. apparently i am in a queue to get a response! needless to say i have cancelled!
i am soooo angry at tesco for their complete lack of customer service. i rang up sky to cancel my whole package 2 days before signing up with tesco and was told by sky not not cancel phone and broadband and just sign up to another provider so as not to be without. thank god i did! however sky clearly have a record i was planning to cancel phone and broadband as well as tv so despite my tv being cut off on 6th they still have not contacted me re leaving, presumably waiting for another provider to be in touch (two colleagues cancelled tv only day after me and both have had two letters). it also means my sky broadband will double in price whilst i wait for another provider! grrrrr :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0
