Rejected for a phone4u/O2 contract!?!

I'll add a bit to this thread.

My younger sibling wanted to get the Samsung J700 16m deal on O2. Signed up and rejected by p4u/O2.

I signed up for the same contract today, success.

Me: mid 20s, 1 credit card, all bills paid, mobile contracts/credit cards since 18.
Sibling: early 20s, no credit cards ever, no mobile contracts ever

Both of us live at the same address, and I put the occupation as 'other' for both of us.


I've passed all mobile contract credit checks first time, but when I apply for a good cashback credit card like Citi I don't get one!

fossil, did u try it online and it worked? and in the P4U shop u got declined?
