P4u subsidiary Mobiles2yourdoor has the pink J700 on a 12 month free deal/12 month contact. Plus there's £55 cashback from www.cashbackkings.comthe j700 currently on offer on phones4u for 11 months free (40 a month) means £40 for 12 months.0 -
I dont care what the site has what on it - are you advertising the j700 - it seems like it do you work for those sites - affiliated to them or something. GEEZ. Talk about destroying threads.0

Your accusations are unfounded. I suggest you re-read the last few posts.
The P4U offer you signed up to was simply not viable and was, in all likelihood, taken up by far too many customers in the short time frame it was available. As a result, they are not honouring the offer and have no obligation to. Disguising it as a credit check failure is not ethical but certainly not worthy of incessant whinging.
There is little more to add to your saga.0 -
Actually the J700 is a really nice phone; does everything it should and the battery lasts for ages. My daughter is really impressed with her pink version.
My use of crummy was perhaps out of turn, prompted only by haste. I have little doubt it is a worthy phone, my point instead was that it is relatively cheap to purchase whole sale, unlike the LG KC 550 or any other "new" mid/high range phones. Therefore, comparing P4Us willingness to honour offers of free/cheap cashback deals between the two phones is ineffectual.0 -
I was approved straight away for my O2 contract when I got it first year of Uni,
They did ask for £100 desposit, but that was because E2save screwed up and sent me 2 contracts, so £100 is not bad at all considering I applied so young!
Been on 3, O2, Orange. Virgin has declined me and so has T-mobile. but they are crap anyway.0 -
i have been rejected by O2. I have been in UK for the past month. Please suggest how i can go for O2???0

are some networks more harsher to get a contract? i was thinking of going on "3"0

You have 0 public information records
You have 10 aliases and/or financial associations
You have been at your current address for 1 years 10 months
You are on the electoral roll at your current address
You have 0 notice of correction on your credit report
The only thing is (and she has as a financial associate.) i have a "CIFAS - Uk fraud prevention service" record due to attempted fraud on my name
Two repayments missed and a CIFAS marker, I would guess is enough to fail an automated check. A manual check would probably pass if everything checked out ok.
Length of time at current address is quite short as well, so won't help matters.
10 financial associations seems alot, is this due to the fraud? If so, you need to get these corrected.0 -
Mstar, I wouldn't recommend going on '3'.
I have never been on it myself, but brother in law and a few friends were on it. I hardly got a text response when they were with 3.
I've been pay as you go with O2 for 7yrs, and have never had a problem.
I even get massive discounts when getting a new phone in shop for my 'years of loyalty!'0
