Keep trying is my advice - think it depends on who answers the phone! If you get the Scottish call centre that i got through to i think you'll be ok. I think it was the option to change your tv package that i went thru - opt 3 or 4 once you get to that menu.
Good luck!0 -
If you already have Sky+ do you realise the £30 installation fee is just for the swap of the box, you can easily do this yourself.
So this 'deal' requires you to opt for movies/sports (+£15 if on a basic £16-£21 package) plus the cost of the HD (£10)
So £75 for the box
£30 for the ''installation'' (If you can call it that)
And £25pm for the privilege (+£300pa)
I think i'll wait a bit longer0 -
call 01506421884

Your existing dish, lnb, and wiring should be replaced when you receive a new installation.0 -

And what would be the point in that? There is absoloutly no need.0 -
Worth noting that you don't need to have Movies or Sports to be eligible for this offer. The details we were sent say you can also qualify by having both Sky Talk and Multiroom, or if you already have Sky Broadband Max (this is how we've qualified). No mention of having to have one or both of the Sports or Movie packages.
It's not great that they're still charging £60 for install but getting the HD box for £75 is a good offer.0 -

The £30 install fee includes- Checking all wiring and if needed replace it
- If you only have a standard box they will need to add another cable for the Sky+ features
- Checking dish and if needed to replace it, or even move it if dropped signal.
- Pairing the box
- Doing manual upgrades and swapping the box over.
- 12 month warranty on the box
Some people are not great with these things so that is why sky have this charge0 -
Ok really silly question here, but do you pay for the HD box via Debit/credit card ? or is the upgrade added to your monthly bill ?, just ask because we would like to get an HD box but can't really until payday at the end of the month. But if they add it to my bill that is not due to be paid until after my salary goes into the bank0

Hi,
tried to do this yesterday but all I got offered was £150 for box and £60 installation. I currently have a sky+ box with sports, do you need to have a multiroom package to qualify for this offer?0 -
New customers can get this deal also.
If I refer a friend to join they can get Sky + box for free or Sky+ HD box for £75 + the £30 install fee.
PM me if you want to be reffered as a new customer. Smile, you only get one life, LIVE IT.0
