iv just registered with marshall ward:rolleyes: , choice :eek: and now monument credit card

do these report back to cra about how i run my accounts... and to which cra?

will they improve my rating if used sensibly..

any advise :j?

yes they will increase your rating over time and i know that the catalogues will report to all 3 cra's hope this helps purplecats

ok cool cos i phoned the catalogues and spoke to someone who didnt get what i meant thought i meant for defaults ect... and after third time of trying to explain i gave up lol...

Today I had a rejection from MBNA - whom I applied to because I thought they use Experian - and was referred to CallCredit!

CallCredit doesn't seem to have a free deal on at the moment, so I guess it'll have to be a £2 report.

I recently got my own credit report from the creditreport.co.uk web site. If I remember correctly Skipton Building Society work closely with Call Credit and also use them for their consumer checking.

CallCredit is part of the Skipton Information Group which contains Skipton Building Society. The group has recently been branded the CallCredit Information Group as they try and gain more of a market share from Equifax and Experian.

These cards are run by HSBC who use all three CRA's, so you should be prepared to be searched at them all.

new thread where everyone can post which company uses which Credit Reference Agency (CRA). Other threads seem fragmented and the original article is definitely out of date.Below is a list of major financial companies which provide bank accounts, credit cards, mobile phone contracts and home shopping catalogues which I will update with which agency they use to search and report to as people post it up. Please also let me know companies I have forgotten.
