How many did you get, how many did you plant, you can still join in.

I wont list my first lot as I dug them out a bit early so they were all a bit small and not many. Second lot were much better but I forgot to weight them:mad:, from what I recall before they got eaten I had maybe 25 potatoes. It was 3 seed potatoes from homebase, I dont know the name of the type all I know is they were bright purple

Third time lucky, I have 2 lots of seed potatoes left so I will try and remember to weigh.

Edit - I really should of kept the potatoe labels, all I know is I bought one's which get smile's and another which produces purple skinned. Dam my weakness for weird looking things.

I dug up the last of my free vales emerald today. I got 8lbs from 3 plants, I reckon I had about 25lbs from all 10 plants in total.

I did three tubs/bags each with one potato in, I cannot remember the variety

tub one 1lb 4oz - the soil was really dry and there where lots of undeveloped potatoes, lesson number one make sure your potatoes have enough to drink!!

haven't got to the others yet, should I put the used compost in the bin or is ok to put it on the garden?

Not really joined in with the discussions on here but I just dug up the rest of my charlottes this afternoon... A couple of weeks ago I probably got about 6 big potatoes, today I have about 16!!! The 16 weigh 2lbs... I started off with 4 potatoes in quite a small container.

Not bad for my first go! :)
