  • And I was told I was sad for weighing my potatoes!!!

I've now dug up my Charlottes (18 plants spread over 40 square foot) and managed to get 48lb of good quality potatoes. Okay, they weren't all small salad potatoes, but so far they've all tasted great.

Skippy54 and Squiggle37, these spuds from DT Brown, that were free, was it some sort of special offer, or a freebie? and do you know if they are doing it next year? I love a freebie

Got the spuds from someone who posted the offer on this board cant find the original thread I think I just had to pay 95p postage, cant complain as i have had my money worth from them so far.
Cant say if offer will be back on next year.

Oh, I've just been rootling around in the soil and pulling out the spuds I need for the day.
So far I've had 4 meals worth from the Dt brown free ones. Does anyone else think they've got different sort of flavour?
The other ones I'm growing are Golden Wonders which I've never grown before but won't be ready for a while.
Just call me Nodwah the thread killer
