No Janey51! Don't! If you follow the link and then when page 48 loads, click on the magnifying glass with a plus sign and it zooms in so you can see it clearer, if you click on the page it takes you to the new price on the website. I've just done this and it works, try again and let us know how you get on...

:T Thanks, I ordered the Grand this morning, and got it at the old price. It should arrive next week.
  • Call me Carmine....

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??
  • By my reckoning this person has paid approx £8 more for this 3 year old one than if they had bought brand new from Lakeland? Why?

I know carmine - I followed that sale too - barking mad - no guarantee if it goes wrong and no free gift & free postage. And the seller said it was frm lakeland and gave rrp too!!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

    Morning all

... but as a bonus -on the despatch note, not only have I got the free utensils.. but they are sending me a trial of there foil -4mX30cm..and in the box is a 99p MOC for the full sized foil :j has anyone else had this? I know my mum did -but i thought it was an error

    :o

MRSMCAWBER, I got a trial size of foil with mine too, it had a coupon on the side for £1 off normal foil which I ended up buying as it was very thick, in fact, I've only used one piece since i got it as I keep washing it, so moneysaving too!

I made some muffins tonight in my remoska (again!) I did some bread too and it rose right to the very top of the lid I thought it was going to keep going! Cooked fine though.

I rang Lakeland about my grand and it has been sent out today so rubbing hands in gleeful anticipation!!!!

  • Someone was asking about the lid sitting unevenly. Just to say I noticed that with mine and realised the deep pan had a couple of dents in it, whereas the lid sat snugly on the shallow pan. I emailed Lakeland Customer Care who immediately offered choice of replacement pan or refund so am just waiting for it to arrive.

I see that MrsMcawber's Moska is on its way.
I can't wait for some of the recipes that she will post

Mr Twit has asked me again what I want for my birthday, (it was on Monday) he has joked that he can't compete with the EcoKettle that I got from my mum...so do I let him buy me a Grand

In my quest to get a decent un-soggy chip from my Remoska I am definately getting somewhere...........

I have had several failures chip wise so I thought I would try some Mcaine homefries as they were on special in Asda.

I put some into the bottom of the grand pan - soggy and steamed:rolleyes: so I used the rack and put some lakeland tin foil on top to prevent the chips from falling through :T RESULT:T lovely crispy chips (i turned them over once).

I now need to discover how to get a crispy chip using real potatoes. I am definately going to try the slimming world par boil & spray in fry lite method tonight.

    My chip quest continues......................
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
