Passing the days creating cupboard space for mine:D

Haha me too BB! I spent yesterday cleaning my kitchen and emptying a basket that has been sat on the worktop for over a year collecting all sorts of bits from pennies to hair clips! I then removed said basket to another room. And guess why I was doing that??? To make way for my new addition of course :rotfl:

  • You won't need cupboard space - mine is used daily so stays out now! :D
Haha I wish clutterfree: I have a fairly small galley kitchen and only one worktop that already has the microwave on it which my two (lovely) lodgers love so has to stay there. If I left the miski out there be virtually no room to prep food. Mentally rebuilding my kitchen but that would make the miski a very expensive purchase:rotfl: . Lodger number one is only 4ft 11 so I can't put the microwave up high out of the way! It's already a standing joke how often I re arrange the kitchen to utilise space better.

Mmmm, mind you you've got me thinking again now:rotfl:
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Does anyone know if the pan can be put in the dishwasher? I know that it`s easy to clean but don`t want to boil the kettle for the hot water when the dw will be going on later.:D

According to the hoorayforhomecooking website it can go in the dishwasher.

I haven't had time to read all of the thread so apologies if this one's been answered before

I've seen a couple of comparisons costing electric ovens vs the Remoska, but does anyone know if you'll make a saving on fuel compared to using a gas cooker?
I understand how to work out electricity running costs, but I don't know how to do it for a gas cooker :o
  • Hi Swan, I don't know the answer to that but my feeling is that as gas prices are going up and the remoska is cheap to run and energy efficient anyway it must be more economical. I would be interested to hear if anyone has any more info on this.

Hi janey51, so glad you got your remoska and saved some money into the bargain! Only 3 days left for the tenner off, glad I got in at that price too.

I'm still waiting for my grand, hoping it will come today. I am actually using my slow cooker today! I did an inventory of my store cupboard with DD2 (anything to keep them entertained over the summer hols ;) ) I found a big tub of dried peas so I am making pea soup today and as its a big batch I need my sc, also doing haricot beans in sc for tonight (quick turnaround time on the sc today!) with carrots. I am doing some olive bread in the remoska though and have kneaded out my dough and its rising nicely.

I had a bad dream last night, I dreamt my remoska fell apart! It was held together with old wire coathangers and the window fell out, what does this mean?!

Zis ees a common anxiety dream you are haffing. Eet represents your attachment to ze Remoska ant your fear of separation from eet. Ze coathangers are old but strong ant made of wire, so weel hold out, do not worry. Ze window represents your view of ze worlt ant a worlt weezout Remoska eez now impossible to contemplett.

Fear not, your Remoska eez not about to fall apart, ant console yourself wiz ze thought that if the worst were to happen, you are covert by ze cast-iron Lekland guarantee.

Your appointment eez over. That will be £120, zank you.

And ze beel, only £120, enough for a Grant Remoska, I am theenking. :D
