Thanks Brighton belle:) Any hots and tips greatfully received from you. Did a roast chicken in it yesterday and smoked haddock and chips for DH tonight. That took longer than I thought but also I'd only plugged it in at the mains and not put handle switch to on-lols Luckily I realised after about five minutes.

Haha, I've done that to - very annoying.
Roast chicken is wonderful - falls of the bones. I do find for a bigger chicken I have to 'spatchcock' it (bash it to flatten it a bit).
I bake cakes in it:I have the grand so use the usual cake tin.
I thuk if you read this thread form the beginning there are a number of recipes idea form when it was particularly popular.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

I've just re-read this whole thread!! is anyone still using their remoska's? I haven't been using mine very much, but am having a new kitchen in a few weeks so am going to be making more use of it in readyness for it being in constant use. What are you all doing in yours????????
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

We use ours three to four times a week.

(Love the way it cooks chicken)
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

Me too!! I have a standard, pop my chicken upside down for half an hour then an hour the correct way and it is always soooo moist.

  • I use mine most days. Saves a fortune not having the oven on. I just warm the plates under the grill.

There are only two of us and we rest the plates on the lid whilst it is cooking.

I use mind quite regularly but I should use it more during the week (the big oven is always on on a Sunday and I bake off a lot of stuff)
    Trying to keep in budget.
