I have a remoska which I was given, so have no receipt. It was pre used and I have had it for some years now. Yesterday it tripped all the electrics when I switched it on, I tried twice so it was definitely that. Can I return it to Lakeland without a receipt?

Yes. But do say either that it was a present, or that you bought it from x branch, and paid cash.
They're the only sellers, so it obviously came from them, but when I rang the last time they did ask where I'd bought it as they'd have a record:)

Thank you, I have just emailed them.

Hi, i have just bought a remoska with recipe book at a local car boot for £2.00 how do i tell if the model is a grand or standard size....also we are all veggies in our house and there does'nt seem to be alot of recipes for us any ideas anyone? thanks in advance......

    Hi,

We are veggie and we use ours for jacket potatoes, roast veg, pizza, tray bakes, cakes, warming up croissants (!) reheating anything, any casseroles, moussaka anything like that.

It is basically an oven which heats to about GM5 but is only approx 700 watts instead of 2500.

Amazing! As I mentioned above, my Remoska tripped the electrics, as I had been given it second hand, I thought that was the end of it. But I read that Lakeland replaced any broken ones, so on the off chance I emailed them. I had a reply the same day asking me to package it up and they would send a courier to collect it. It has now been collected, and today (which also happens to be my birthday!) my brand new shiny Remoska has been delivered!!!!!!!!!
And all without a receipt or any proof of purchase at all!!!
Absolutely amazing - I take my hat off to Lakeland's customer service!

    Aren't they wonderful?!
I felt like it was my birthday when my shiny new one came :)

Btw I cooked bread in it for the first time last week and it was brilliant. It was a 'tear & share' loaf idea, dough mixed in the bm then bits added, cut up, and put all round the outside of the dish. Fantastic, except so much got eaten long before dinner!

Persnally I wouldn't. I was a bit disappointed in it. But honestly, you can cook all your usuaul stuff in it, or anything form cookery books you already have: they are wonderful. You just need to get used to perhaps differnt cooking times as you get used to it.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
