Thats what mine does but its quite bad, apparently is a faulty element according to he lakeland review, a few others on this thread have complained about this too.Pawpurrs x0 -
Mine had a 'rattle' so I took it back and it was replace - no quibble.0

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I do know it was the Remoska that did it as we weren't doing anything else at the time. It did only do it the once but I am a bit nervous now. I don't fancy unscrewing the lid and all that, because of making matters worse, apart from the fact that we use it just about everyday. I cleaned the oven today and it's so bright and shiny, I have no intention of using it again!
I might just ring Lakeland and ask the question, see what they have to say. [strike]We[/strike] I have been planning to have a ride up to Windermere and have a look if there's any bargains in shallow pans.....
I had the same problem with my Remoska and I phoned them and they replaced it, no problem, mine blew the electrics everytime I took the lid off and reversed it to stand on its handle. The new one is fine. Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Amazing, astonishing, fantastic, great, brilliant...can't think of any more words to describe this marvel!
And I've only had it since last night!
I made: yorkshire puddings, roasted potatoes and sausage and carrots, lemon curd tarts and bread.
Can't wait to make more things in it. That Coffee pudding sounds yummy!"Finish each day And be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."

I already had a Standard which had worked just fine for ages. It was the Grand which had the 'rattle' from the first time I used it so I didn't hesitate to take it back as I just knew that it wasn't right. They didn't ask anything - just exchanged it straight away although they did say that they 'hadn't heard of any other complaints like that'!!! The replaced one is fine - used it this evening for sausages, potatoes, mushrooms and eggs.0

Another happy Moska user here! Not having to clean my fan oven is a huge plus.... :j
I have a problem with muscle fatigue atm, so figured out I could simplify peeling butternut squash, by simply cutting it into large chunks and cooking it till soft, drizzled w olive oil in the Moska. Worked a treat, and I peeled it once cooked - was SO easy! Half went into a beef and bean casserole, and I ate the rest with a venison burger for my tea. Was ace.If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Mine has a rattle too. It seems to rattle more when it is hot. Just been and given it a shake now and it is not too bad when cold but does still rattle. I have been using it almost every day since I got it in August and never had any problems with it though. Now I am wondering if I should give Lakeland a call. I think westcountrymaid's description of the rattle as sounding like dried rice inside is exactly what mine sounds like but don't know whether to contact Lakeland as I haven't had any other problems.
With regards to the coffee fudge pudding, reheated the other half in the microwave tonight but the sauce had evaporated into the sponge. Just poured some fresh cream on it though. It was still good to eat but not for the waistline!
MrsM "hmm I fancy something sweet" next thing I know Im sat on the sofa waiting for the latest batch of coconut buns, scones etc to come out of the remoska-please tell me its not just me
.... - no its not just you. I do this too.
I also do my jacket pots without oil. They are always fluffy inside with crunchy skin.0 -
