well I got my pac in Aug & have not used contract since ( or since early 2008 due to handset issue ), tried to use it & it failed ! tried to get a re-issue by e-mail to no avail then was out of the UK so couldnt PAC out, emailed customer services saying was back in UK for 14 days & needed a PAC again in early Oct again to no avail, came back to UK early Nov & called requesting PAC - only to be told I have to pay £54 for Sep/Oct before they will issue my PAC, refused to pay & argued with 3 till this week on the " arrears " & told to pay & will be recredited ( yeah right ! )...paid & told ( @ 8pm ) " 24 hours from now handset will be unbarred & then PAC can be issued " - called 10pm last night STILL barred & cant get a PAC, request to unbar was sent at 1.30pm yesterday ( 16 1/12 hours after I was informed request was sent !!!) gggggggrrrrrrrrrr
got up a 9am and handset is now unbarred.....awaiting call back from manager to escilate complaint about this PAC issue over several months & many other problems since May 05 ( still unresolved by India )
3 Exec Office has stated complaint must be sent to them via Customer Services manager but I already in writing complained in April 08 & got a call back from a India manager who would do nothing to resolve my faulty handset/overcharges issues & refused to sent back to the Exec Office, I later was told I never spoke to a manager at all from another manager in another call centre ??
Last week Exec Office state follow complaints rank to highest in customer services & if they will not resolve THEY must sent to them - without India sending the complaint as " unresolved " to Exec they cant touch it ! Jesus 3 have been hell since I joined in 03....why when they said upgrade July 07 & we will sort the problems out if you put it in writing I agreed to that upgrade I will never know, one of my worst decisions

I have been in touch with 3 regarding the itemised billing and the T&C in order to break out of an 18 month upgrade contract I took about 7 months ago on a Mix & Match tariff. However 3 are adamant that this is not detrimental, and the T&C stated that itemised billing was chargeable however they were not charging for it. They refuse to accept the termination in contract without me paying the termination charge.
Can anyone update the thread as to if you have been successful in obtaining PAC code without termination fee based on this issue, and what is my next line of action? Is 3 just brushing me off hoping I go away quietly or is there really no way. I appreciate any update on this.

I have 2 accounts with 3, one that i use myself (mix and match 300) and one that my brother uses.
My brothers is the £20 texter tariff which was took out on an upgrade in August, but the 18 months doesn't actually start until 30th November. Have tried cancelling this but after a lenghty call from 3 yesterday i am still no further forward.
Brings me to another query. Can the tariffs be swapped over so that i had the £20 texter and my brother gets the m&m 300?
Then i could upgrade the m&m price plan to one more suitable for my brother.0 -
Sorry to ask a question which may have been answered above, but it's getting really hard to keep up now and I have tried, honest!
I had given up on this a while ago on the grounds that my contract began after the relevant date given earlier in the thread (can't remember when now).
Then last week, November 7, I got a text notifying me of the billing change so I thought I'd have another look.
Is there any point me trying to cancel now? Sorry if his annoys a few people and thanks for any assistance!0
