Interesting thought, I would assume you would have to had a failed attempt to cancel within the 30 days notice they gave us.
Sorry I cannot post more, but I don't want anything to affect my case and I am sure 3 are reading and posting in this thread.0 -

I did indeed try to cancel when I found out about the changes and was refused at every turn.
You are wise to keep your cards close to your chest because I do believe that 3 monitor this thread - there is another forum (who's name escapes me) that 3 employees regularly post on, and they are fully aware of this thread so it's a sensible move.0 -

I am about to start on the billing charge route - have emailed - had the bounceback and replied to this one. I got the text on 31st October about introducing the charge at my next bill - due in around 7 days time!
Will pursue this vehemently as I have had nothing but poor service from 3 and have zero coverage at home - despite three's now infamous coverage checker saying I have full HSDPA - when in relaity I can't make a call unless I sit by the bedroom window and then I can hear myself coming back!0 -
:T May seem a little off thread if you know what I mean - but I think a Vodafone BlackBerry Storm is looking good for next week :T0

Another update...
I have been told it could be another 8 weeks before my case is finalised.
Sorry for the lack of detail.
All I can say is take your complaints over first minute billing and paper billing charges to OTELO.0 -
I cancelled last year but I still think there were 1000s of customers that still don't know.

I today received my 3 Bill and one day after I received the text advising of the billing charge it has been applied to my account. Has anyone had ny success in terminating because of a failure to give notice. I have already written an email to 3 terminating on the basis of detriment and now failure to give 30 days notice.
Any advice would be welcomed (please)0 -

I did that and have waited the 12 weeks as i never got a deadlock letter.
I have now been told they will not take my case after filling in a complaints form.
