The thing is - we'll all feel better in a matter of days.

I'm trying not to! It's just hard, never lived on my own before so it's weird having all this time and I'm just thinking 'right, I'll watch this, then watch that, then make dinner' it's like I'm trying to fill up my time.

I don't think a matter of days will do it, I'm on day 8 so far.

    Plenty room dumpy!

Phoned about my computer not working, basicly it has died on me so I can't use it :( weekend is going to be horrible with no computer access.

Think about changing your broadband provider and find one that has a deal with a free laptop!

I never even knew you could get a deal like that. It's a big possibility, I'd be better waiting until I move obviously but I might do that, just not got the money for a computer at the moment :(

Have you tried putting an advert on your local freecycle? You never know someone might have an old one knocking about somewhere (admittedly you might end up with a big old breeze block of a computer but it would do you in the short term!)

Freecycle is brilliant- it's amazing what people will be willing to give away if you ask xxx

I have been looking on our local freecycle for one for her, but so far nothing has came up. Hopefully we will get something soon for her though.

Have you tried actually putting a request on for one? It is amazing what some people store away and don't even think about until asked.

Yep I will be doing so after the weekend. Three people have posted wanted ads for PC's today alone. It's a bit awkward for us, because none of us drive and we have to rely on the good nature of some freecyclers to deliver it (which many have done for me with various things) or she will have to hope it's someone close by and pay for a taxi.

I will post a wanted ad after the weekend though.

Listenng to all you women, looking after Drea. I feel so guilty being a man. Some of us are nice, well maybe sometimes.
