Just a wee update, got a viewing for a flat today at 2.15pm, so I'm out of work at 1pm, my mum is hopefully coming with me if she can get out of something else. It's cheap so I'm not holding out much hope :p

I'm annoyed, 1 bedroom flats in Edinburgh without seperate kitchen, just shower, etc are around £450 a month. But flats in Falkirk, Fife, etc are around £300 a month and much much bigger and better quality. There is even a house in Bo'ness for £350 a month. It would cost loads travelling in for work though :(

As for everything else, I'm getting there.

The whole checking bebo thing is just part of the grieving process - in time you'll be looking at his picture and thinking that you're well rid of him !!!

I've just been dumped after a very short but intense relationship and I'm on day 4 and feeling much better. I did text him when I was tipsy lastnight but I texted this morning to apologise and then immediately deleted his number to avoid repeat performances over the weekend.

So ... you're getting the flat thing sorted hopefully.

Now you need to get out and have some fun - I know another relationship is not what you really want at the moment but maybe joining a free site like plenty of fish will bring people safely into your life and give you someone to chat to without being judged.

There was a post on here yonks ago about finding friends and on there it was suggested to me to try gumtree - had just got out of a very controlling relationship and was new to the area therefore felt very lonely. I replied to two adverts on gumtree and found two of the best friends a girl could need - just back from my second T in the Park with one of them and out for a girlie night out on friday with the other. There's a few men on there just after a bit of you know what but if you try it you'll see there's loads of people in your boat.

    It'll get better chick - promise x
  • deleting the number can be a good thing, even though you will know it off by heart, having to physically enter the number when you want to text, gives you that couple of seconds to think 'do I really want to send this?'

I think you are doing well, when i got dumped i did the whole loopy bit too :o think it helped the rage then the calm, it does get easier but only if you let it i know that sounds daft but if you let yourself keep checkin his bebo etc then your hurting yourself and dont you think hes done that enough for you?

I found when i wanted to look at stuff like that i went and did something else or i phoned my mum for a whinge (thats always a good thing)

I hope the flat viewing went well.

I just used to tell myself he'd done me a favour coz now i had more 'me' time and then there was no more dirty smelly socks lol well only mine:o :p
