Mine didn't go in either. I phoned them on 29 Sept. and got a letter of apology back on 06 Oct. The lack of bonus was due to an error in their data collection process. It has now been credited.

I now find that the only way to withdraw it is to open a current account to transfer it into. This will be done.
  • Just phoned them again for the 2nd time and they have credited the £50-at last!

    The T&Cs are here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=12522421&postcount=13

Go back to the branch, and make sure they log a 'concern' on their system, and get a reference for it as proof.

Nice sounding little loophole that one- would like to hear from more people as to how it works out for them ..

  • My £50 bonus payment was due in October but never arrived. A couple of weeks ago I sent Natwest an enquiry via their online customer service form, they sent it on to the Direct Savings department, and a few days later I got my £50 no problem.

Next I need to go into town to close my account
I'd be happier on holiday in Brittany than being at work !
