Squiggly – do you know just how much your posts make me homesick…mentioning Seaford etc……:D

Oops, sorry Dazi... :( I can't imagine not living here, it must be horrible to be so far away from somewhere you love. Hopefully you'll get back again soon to get your "fix" of luverly Sussex :):)

Chalky75, glad you are enjoying your trip so far too & welcome to Valli (and any other newbies I missed today?).

Just been up the seafront taking pictures of my baby & all her friends going to their prom - cars could hardly get along the road, it was packed up there. They all look so grown up too - I'll try & post a pic (as well as the ones of my newly decorated room & bathroom that anniestar asked for the other day!).
They're coming back by limo at gone midnight to change for the "after-party" at someone else's house   So won't be back again until early morning probably - I have a feeling I won't be getting much sleep tonight. So off for a wallow in the bath now & then to sit in bed watching tv :)

    Night all.

No worries, one day I will be there! My ideal at the moment would to be living in Lewes, one direction to visit parents in Uckfield, one direction to visit son in Eastbourne and not too far away to pop over to west sussex for DD and DGD ahhhhhhhhhhh one day lol oh and I so want to do walk down seven sisters, past the coastguard cottages - enough of that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am sitting here waiting for DSD to get home, have spoken to OH and he has not got a lot of patience with me tonight cos he thinks I am being narky about looking after her, am not narky just been there done that and oh dear didn't realise I would have to do it again :D

Have a lovely glass of wine on the go, so not too upset about sitting here waiting. Just watched celebrity masterchef and my MSE/OS head came on and wondered what happened to all the food they cook :rotfl: although not sure if I would want to eat it after the judges have had their mouthfulls.
whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

    Stopped smoking 20:30 28/09/11 :D

Welcome to the newbies....I think I forgot earlier.

HH I also forgot to say that IMHO you need no course on writing as you are fairly adept already....might be worth having a look at the site Mioliere suggested though, but spend no money!

    hi every one,

i needed to get to the end of the month without writing cheques, which i heavily relied on.

starting dipping in and out of this site - particularly os - and OMG!!!

i started by taking all my money out on pay day and dividing it into different money bags, with weekly amounts, and this helped me think - ok so i'm skint - it's tuesday, BUT I really do have all the food i need and i can open the next bag on friday!!!

I also started meal planning - i made out a spreadsheet with all my meals at the top and ingredients down the side, now i can plan so easily, cook loads of say chicken meals and not feel like we are eating chicken every night!!

my dad got really ill in April and died at the start of June - i thought this would send me back to my bad old ways - but thanks to you lot having gotten me into this brilliant habit - i have coped really well.

i know what money i have got when and to be honest have been able to buy myself loads more that i didn't have th money for before - not going totally wild - bought 6 tops in the past weeks and they cost £19.50 in total!!!

Thanks to each and every one of you

    Evening all

Typed a long post about the poor people in Zimbabwe but this isn't a political forum so have deleted it. Don't think I will be getting into Russian anytime soon though as I have e-mailed the Russian government to express my disappointment at their vetoing UN action.

We think we have something to complain about in this country with high petrol and food prices but at least we don't have 80% unemployment and 2m% inflation like those poor people in Zimbabwe.

Glad its the weekend. ((((hugs)))) to all who need them. Congratulations to all with something to celebrate. xx
