Hello all - what a lovely thread - first visit though I've been reading some other OS threads and posting!
You sound a lovely lot - I'll drop in again if that's ok - but I know I can't make it everyday.
Let's hope that the weather soon improves (but it's done wonders for my soft fruit - had a bumper crop of stawberries this summer and made blackcurrant jam yesterday - first time I've ever had as many as the recipe requires! Had to use the jam pan instead of a saucepan LOL)
You sound a lovely lot - just what I need when I'm home alone!

    Love'n'hugs to you all!

Happy birthday to Rzl and Dan the Man; N9eave – hope fishing went well and that your tackle is OK and that you still have the upper hand over the FB!. Didn’t realize Aussie had a digital picture of you! Chris – your darling GD is absolutely gorgeous and love the name. Welcome to Ella Louise! Well Aussie, the poo story! I am afraid I had a giggle! Typical manky boy but do agree not acceptable if GB had this with any of her DGSs. Penpin – glad to hear the cleaning went better than you thought.

Sorry I only got to lunch time or so at work reading your posts and then IT descended. Not good to be caught on forums etc.

So if no mention, not intentional and maybe catch up a bit this evening. Busy weekend with a family BBQ (bring your own booze (fine) and now your own food!). It is a round trip of 90 miles and we were invited about 3 weeks ago. Only found out the night before last about the food bit so will have to go shopping tomorrow!

Hope to see our DGSs on Sunday.

    Love and hugs to all

    GB

Charlies_mum – glad to hear the 2nd venue has turned out ok
Pen-pin – organised chaos would be my way of doing it, glad to hear its worked out ok
Rmac – sorry SIL sees it that way, as others have said, might be more a problem her end re moving away from you all
Squiggly – do you know just how much your posts make me homesick…mentioning Seaford etc……:D
Pippa S – that is dreadful (((hugs))) for your friend, hope her DS come out ok

All gone pear shaped here, DSD is here, going to party later, OH is NOT going to be home tonight but has arranged for his DS1 to pick her up. So far we don’t know what time this party finishes. Am not sure I am ok with doing the teenage years again it was hard enough the first time around, let alone the second when I am that much older. OMG I sound like a grumpy old woman
Grrrrrr now phone call to say that DS2 is picking DSD up…..I give in., can only sit and wait, but you can be sure that if it all goes wrong it will be my fault:confused:

hi Valli just saw your post before I clicked submbit, welcome to OS

tramps I know just how you feel as my DS1 had an accident last December aged 17 and ended up in hospital too, luckily no serious injuries but I will never forget the panic I felt when I got the phone call.
    Do what you love :happyhear
