Morning all,
You've made me quite light headed N9eav thinking about you getting your tackle out.I've had a lovely Ninny day bar one incident today. Got my hair cut this morning. Had to leave in disgrace as DGS picked up dog poo and threw it at the other boy when he wouldn't let him have a go on the swing. Got him in the hair and stuck. Luckily my hair cut was over.
MY children never did anything like that.
So we had quite a little talk about being nice etc on the way home.
Chrisca Oh she's gorgeous. What a lovely name too. Suits her so well.
dogrose Have fun.
candygirl <hugs>. Try and have a restful weekend. Your health seems to be taking a flogging lately.
charliesmum That's good news about the venue. Don't go overboard with the taste testing.
Well I'll pop back later. Hope you all have a great day & hugs to those not well. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning everyone
Raining again. Think I may save that phrase so I can paste it in each day
Chrisca - lovely name for a lovely little girl
Glad to hear you are feeling better Mioliere.
Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly Candygirl, worries and stress can bring on nasty stuff ((hugs))
Happy birthday to Bargain Rzl
Have a good day fishing N9eav
I got up early today to do things before going down town and OH has done it all before he went to work, DW emptied and re stacked, bins and newspapers out.
Off to get ready now then library and bank. Dinner tonight will be quiche again as didn't freeze one, I had made 1 tuna and 1 cheese and tomato, we couldn't decide which one to eat so had a bit of both. OH had never had tuna quiche before and as he is very wary of trying new stuff it was funny watching him try it. Anyway he liked it so thats ok.
See you later xxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Got up at 6 to wake DD so feel a bit tired now.
Have seen other DD off to school and DH off to work so nice and peaceful.
I want to make more lentil pate and try to make my own houmous later.
Might make lentil soup in the slow cooker and maybe bake some more rolls as the ones I made last night have turned out so well.
Trying to convince myself that if I go upstairs and have a nap for half an hour it will re charge me. More likely I will nod off for a couple of hours then feel groggy and get nothing done.
Hugs to candygirl and anyone else who could do with one.
My new breadmaker only arrived on Tuesday and I have already used it every day and used 4 lbs of flour in it!!!!"This site is addictive!"

Meant to say Happy Anniversary to Mr and Mrs MeanMarie for yesterday
Happy Birthday to Bargain RZL.
Aussie - that made me laugh about your DGS! I'm a bit surprised and disappointed that you haven't got a pic of N9EAV with his tackle out!
Chrisca - beautiful baby and a lovely name!
Well, I've had a shower, cleaned the bathroom and put the WM on so I'm a lot more organised than I was this time yesterday. I shall work for most of the morning and go out a bit later. I usually try and do my shopping quite early but I've been expecting a cheque through the post for the last couple of days so I need to wait for the post to arrive. Of course, the postie will be really late today, I expect! The latest we have had post has been just before 7pm on a Saturday - it's so unreliable these days, isn't it? I can't bellieve what has happened to our postal service over the last few years; the deliveries used to be so regular and and now they could be anytime from 8am to 7pm.
Oh, well, you can tell I'm better, can't you?!
See you later.

WM, DW on,tidied round so shower for me next, hairdresser coming at 10:30,
then I will vac round, not much point til I`ve had my hair cut, then get a few things in a case for the weekend, nothing much after that until later.
I am off out for a meal with some friends tonight, we all worked together for a long time, but we are all spread out now, either working or retired, the age range is 35-64. There are 10 of us altogether and we live all over the place, but it`s nice to meet up and have a real good chat, we only meet once a year as some live quite a distance away. We have been through all sorts together.........boyfriends,engagements,weddings,divorces,babies,house moves, arguments, makings up,leaving homes, all sorts of family problems including suicide, new business`s,serious illnesses, and in my case a very bad car accident, and sadly deaths, but we have been there for each other. I think that speaks volume`s and I count myself very lucky to have friends like these.
O dear I am rambling on this morning
Back later
Anne
