I may not quite be a Rev, but I do attend an evening bible college training to become one. I work full time in the motor trade and most of my posts are on the Motoring boards if you'd care to search. I enjoy helping people, it's in my nature, and Ive learned a thing or two about a thing or two, so why not share that knowledge so that some people dont have to learn the hard way like I have in many situations?!

What purpose do your hypothetical accusations serve?

Actually I got you confused with someone else.......and I apologised.

The reason why TiTheRev respects my advice is because I advised him, and then he bought a Staples mattress (which I don't sell).

You apologised because I left you no choice,but you accuse other people who make the same statements as me as being competitors too,I have seen you do it many times before.

Yes,just because you say " i sold him a mattress and it wasn't mine " doesn't prove anything-and judging by the pms i have received so far,neither do other people believe you.

How many of those 5000+ posts have actually been helpful, or are you just attention seeking and annoying people with false accusations? If this is what you spend your day posting, im surprised that you've been thanked once let alone 2000 times

He didnt sell me anything, I bought the mattress from an old school buddy in town based on Tim's recommendations of what makes a good mattress???

Just a small observation from someone who has been looking to buy a mattress for a few weeks so I have been "lurking" for advice on mse and some other forums - I dont think its especially useful when there is one person on a forum who effectively runs the the thread and sees themselves as the thread expert.
I have seen it happen on a few other subjects and whilst one person may be a good source of advice for some there are lots of others who have recently purchased or looking to purchase who may also add something but feel they cant as the "expert" may put them down.

Not bothered about being put down myself I have to say but lots of others may be;)

Well,seeing as as you brought it up,in a thread started on Moneysavers Arms called "Exchange of compliments" asking people to name posters they admired-someone nominated me there for my " always having a positive and helpful post",and that's a board I hardly ever go on.
