Dont know if its any use to anybody but Costco are running their "passport" deal on mattresses for this week only which is 20% off.

I got a double Durham mattress (Silent night i think but cant find it anywhere else!) for £206 (around £55 off) clearly not the best mattress in the world but for my currently meagre budget and a 3 year no quibble guarantuee from Costco then it works for me:D They had lots to choose from for those of you with bigger budgets but the 20% off seems good to me

Not sure if all the Costcos stock mattresses but its worth a look I guess (this was the Haydock one)

I don't own Costco (unfortunately) so no vested interest:rotfl:

    HTH

Unfortunately Costco only sell Silentnight, Rest Assured, and Sealy (all part of the same group that has been mentioned many times previously on here).

okay, i appreciate that a non turn mattress is not recomended, however bearing in mind price and the fact that i'm willing to possibly replace in a couple of years would a mattress of this spec be worth consideration for a smidge over £200

More information about the company here

NB it's not a personal recommendation as I don't have one or sell them.

On paper (apart from non-turn) it looks ok, but depends on the quality of materials used. You should be able to get a decent (probably non mem-foam though) turnable mattress within budget though so i'd still not recommend that one.

They can snide away, Im only here to help at no benefit to anyone but the person asking the question!

I bought a Staples duchesse mattress, it's a 1400 spring, pocket sprung, full turn with lambs wool filling :) NOT ONE TIM SELLS! ;)

You really should get treatment for that ocd disorder that compells you to chase tims posts in order to recommend his company..most strange..:rotfl:Reverend..:rotfl:PS tim has tried to accuse me of being a competitor-until I pointed out how long I have been posting on this site.
Thanks to everyone who has pm d me;)
